I had a terrible experience with this company. I purchased four shirts off their website and when they arrived, they didn’t look like the photos advertised. The quality and designs were noticeably different compared to what was advertised on their website. I reached out to their support team and asked for a refund for my order and they refused to give it to me. They said I could send the clothes back but would have to pay for shipping back to them. They offered me store credit, but I was uninterested due to their false advertisement on their clothes. I don’t understand why I would have to pay shipping back to their company on a mistake they made. It seems like they’re trying to scam people of money. Once I addressed my concern with this, they stopped replying to me after numerous attempts of messaging them. I felt like I was being scammed by them and I would not recommend their store. Awful customer service, the least they could do is answer my emails as they made a mistake with my order and didn’t take accountability for it. You’d be better off going to an actual thrift store to find vintage clothing.
This company is run on bad customer service and lies. Ordered over a week ago through instagram on their website, enticed by the 30% off 3 shirts which apparently runs everyday because the ‘countdown’ for the sale is somehow still active on the site. The shirts came in quickly and upon opening and trying on the shirts I noticed the quality and sizing differed from what was presented on the website. Disappointed, I returned to the website and processed my refund. This is where it got bad. Nowhere before purchasing, only in the FAQ does it state refunds are for store credit or exchanges only. Once I realized I couldn’t get my money back I emailed the company explaining there’s no reason for me to exchange as the biggest size they carry didn’t fit correctly and the quality is terrible so why would I want more? Of course I said it in kinder words but was very surprised they refused a refund because of fit issues and quality issues. Don’t you think if a customer isn’t happy you’d let them return the product for their money back? Biggest scam I (and it looks like unfortunately a lot of other people) have fallen for. Writing this review not for any compensation from them, but just to warn others about this scammy shady company.
The tee arrived on time however the print itself is just ok in my opinion. The fit is like that of a Gildan tee it does feel a little like bait and switch. What you see in the photos is not exactly what you get in person. I did rock the shirt with an outfit and it came out ok but just know it’s nothing like the photo they show.
The shirt I received was printed so poorly that you can’t even recognize what it’s suppose to be, about 95 percent of the color is missing. I’ve reached out via email and not received any response- what what I’ve read this is a common occurrence and they are a scam company that sends out garbage for $50 a shirt
I bought this shirt as a birthday gift for my brother. It did not fit him and it was defective and sewn incorrectly. I contacted Strike Anywhere to return the defective shirt and they said that it was 34 days since I placed the order and that they would not take back a defective shirt because they have 30 day return policy. I asked them if a shirt gets more or less defective over 30 days?!?! They sell defective shirts and they do not stand behind the quality of their products. I would NOT recommend buying anything from Strike Anywhere Vintage. Additionally, their customer service is rude and I felt like they were discriminating against me by the comments they made after I first contacted them about this issue.
The shirts they display on their website is not what you’ll receive. What you should receive is a high quality, vintage washed, heavyweight shirt. What you’ll receive is a plain black (or white) t shirt with the graphic printed on. The prints are fine (not as good looking as what they promote on the website), but the shirt quality is severely lacking, and is basically false advertisement. On top of that, they’re charging nearly $50 for their more popular shirts. Stay away!
