I was one of the people that pre-ordered this product after seeing ads for it on Instagram and being intrigued at the idea of having a stand that is always with your laptop whenever you need it. I had high hopes, but was a little worried that it might fall short. I was a little disappointed when they didn't ship them out when they had said they would, initially -- but I understand how unpredictable production can be sometimes (I am a regular kickstarter backer for several products). After receiving the Svelt and applying it to my laptop (which was very easy after watching the video they sent in a followup email), I am blown away. It does add a little bit of weight to my laptop, but the use for which this was made for works perfectly! I just LOVE this thing. I find myself using my laptop much more now because it is way more comfortable than it used to be *and* I can use it in my LAP, the way a laptop is meant to be used. The Svelt is steady and always ready! It was worth the extra time waiting and now I am looking to buy more for others in my family because everyone is jealous of mine. :D
As an entrepreneur, I work on the go, on my mac. Couch, bed, airplane, cafe, everyplace is a workstation. So, I needed a stand that was not too bulky and gave an elevation to my laptop to improve my posture. I saw Svelt on insta and it checked all the boxes. Light, portable and gives me good posture and the price does not hurt my pocket.Would definitely recommended!
Love the product. Its light and really helps in settings where you don't have an external screen. I've had it on my laptop now for well over a month that involved a lot of travel and I don't even notice it anymore. It barely adds weight and really makes working a lot better.
