Review Time
This program is completely misleading. My assigned supervisor only conducted one observation throughout the whole semester, yet the portal inaccurately indicated that I had five. As a first-year teacher, I did not receive the support that was promised. When I attempted to withdraw from the program for valid reasons, they insisted I pay the remaining tuition. Regulatory bodies should look into their questionable practices. I strongly advise anyone considering this program to think twice. They failed to uphold their commitments and fabricated observations. You may end up needing legal assistance to recover your funds or to cancel the program without incurring debt.
I am extremely frustrated with the Teachers of Tomorrow program. I am not receiving any real assistance, and my emails are not being answered. It feels like they just copy and paste a standard response without actually reading my questions. On top of that, they have not guided me on which specific courses I need to take to complete the required 12–15 credit hours; instead, they want me to take the PACT which I consider I have enough credit hours plus my GPA is over 3. I requested to review my transcripts again but they continue asking for official transcripts but they already have them. Because of all of these issues, I feel completely stuck and unsure of how to move forward. At this point, I feel like the program is wasting my time since May (2025) that I started I am still in the same point, also the resources they gave me are totally different than the tests. Since I’m not getting any support, the only option I have left is to consider dropping the program. I expected guidance and clarity, but I have not received either.
This program is terrible. Every time I get to a point that I think I can move on and take my content exam they add 100+ hrs to my “training” that will not let me move on. I am already in the classroom and can’t get any credit for that. They are terrible at communicating. It is criminal how this program is run. I feel like I’m being held hostage. Please find a different program you will save yourself time, effort and money!
The videos are long and boring. They criticize your work too much even if you're working as a full time teacher and doing great at your position. When you write what your school is giving you praise for, they say it's not enough. Definitely do not recommend teachers of tomorrow. Go with another company.
I started this program in September, and I noticed that when they requested my transcripts, I had my school send them the same day by email. It took them 2 weeks to get them. Meanwhile, they were sending me messages, asking for the transcripts. The enrollment advisors were professional and helpful for the most part.I studied a total of 5 practice tests. Four of them with Mometrix, and one with Pearson.I asked one advisor if any of the practice material would be on the actual test, and she told me that the Pearson practice test was supposed to be close to the actual Visual Arts test that I would take...but it WAS NOT! I was able to score 95 and above on all the practice material, but none of the questions that I studied was on the real test. The questions on the subject material was totally different from what I was studying. I basically had to guess the best answer on at least 90% of the test. I studied hard, and put a lot of time towards studying for the past 2 months. I haven't seen my scores, but I knew when I was taking the test that I would fail. There is no way that I'm staying in this program.
Completely ridiculous the price you will pay vs the quality of service you will get. Pretty clear why they have been struggling to maintain accreditation. No attention to detail or consistency is paid in their materials. Videos are riddled with technical issues, pages and any other written materials have a large number of typos and some outright incorrect or missing information. Customer service is unhelpful and useless. Zero effort is put into the lessons or their delivery, and grading is a 50/50 if anyone actually reads your papers or just takes off random points. Stay far away if you can, far better off spending the extra money and going through a university or another entity that knows what they’re doing.
This experience has been awful. I am going in three years of dealing with them. You can never speak to the same people or a supervisor and the people you can get on the phone will tell you something different each time you call. I wish I would have gone with any other program at this point.
Their program is a total scam. My assigned field supervisor from TOT only did one observation in the entire semester but on the portal it said I had five observations already. As a first year teacher, I didn’t get the promised support from them. When I tried to cancel the program with a good cause, they even required me to pay the remaining tuition. TEA should investigate them for their grimy practice. For anyone who considers applying to TOT, I don’t recommend you to do so. TOT failed to deliver its promise, they made up fake observations. You probably gonna need a lawyer to get your money back or even cancel the program without being dragged into debt.
I would put zero stars if I could. The communication with staff and educators during the course work is the worst I ever experienced. You never talk to the same staff member, they are not upfront about the whole program. They charge you basically for nothing when you are the one who has to pay for the exams, which should be in the 4,000 they charge. Their information is not helpful, I had better information studying away from this program. I do not recommend this program to anyone, it’s a trap. I don’t even know how they are still state accredited. I would have never gave them my money if I knew it was going to be like this.
