Working with Sam Marcus has been extremely wonderful. He was able to design a Logo - an Animated Logo - and a Business Card that far exceeds anything I could have imagined. He and his team are currently working on on a website for me as well - and I cannot wait to see what they develop. They have provided me with options along the way and have tastefully embedded my Parent Company's Logo in with mine to meet my Compliance Team's approval. You will not be disappointed with their designs! Awesome job on everything so far! Thank you!
Techxide as a whole was not a positive experience. I felt they were amazing with communication initially, but when I was asking for revisions of the design, they stopped responding promptly. I initially used them for designing my logo, but then added on a stationary package, and my website design. For the stationary package, I was told I could easily change things and adjust it for each hired staff, especially since I didn't know my actual office location or phone number yet, I definitely would need to update things. Then when they delivered it, it required an adobe program for graphic designers to edit - despite my confirming multiple times that I could easily edit before signing on for the service, they didn't think to mention that it would require specialized software that is a monthly subscription (I believe $40 per month)... After going back and forth, they then set the stationary (email signature, business cards, letter head, and envelope) as adobe files. This was appreciated - though I later realized I couldn't edit with the same font, and I had to remake it in word so that I could use it as my letter head.... I essentially realized I should have just created it myself, but I was trying to save time. Then with the website - I repeatedly told them I didn't know what I was doing with a website, it was completely new for me, I was told that they would walk me through each step, that I could easily edit things 'as if it were a social media profile', etc. I followed up multiple times making sure of these factors - but then had crappy communication initially, including horrible attention to detail. However, after I complained and talked to one of the supervisors, I was connected with Max Thompson who was much better with being responsive in communication and completing the tasks that I asked about with my website. Techxide made some promises that they didn't follow up on, but Max worked with me to ensure that everything was followed up on to the best of his ability. For example, a website being developed in word press is not something that is 'easy' for someone with no experience to edit 'like a social media platform', Max was kind enough to walk me through some things and offer longer assistance to help my transition once I expressed my concerns about what I was promised vs. what was being delivered. I truly appreciate the help Max gave me, but I was disappointed with the customer service and the process in general with Techxide itself. The only reason this review is getting 4 stars is because of Max, if the review was for Texchide itself, it would only be 1 star - but due to not wanting it to reflect poorly on Max, who helped me the most, it's a 4 star review - reluctantly.Updating again - Even with my individual person helping me... my website went live weeks ago, but I continue to have problems that I have to reach out about. When the website goes live, it's supposed to be ready for me, but because of it being more complicated than I anticipated after being told it would be easy, the person that has been helping me offered to continue to help with maintenance ... but I have been having to reach out fairly regularly because of issues I am noticing, with things that aren't something I changed. Most recently, finding that in all of my contact form options on my website, the contact information isn't coming through to my e-mail at all, despite being told it would... and now 9 out of 19 blog posts aren't visible, and the links to the blog posts from my social media say "sorry, you can not preview drafts" ... but on word press it says it's published. Mind you - NOTHING was ever said to me about a limit on blog posts or anything. Considering money paid for this site, and what was promised to me, when I thought I was being thorough in what I was asking and ensuring I was fully understanding - I feel like I've been flat out lied to. I'll update once things are made right - but I wanted to to ensure others understand what they are getting into with techxide.
Nick and Sam were great to work with. They walked me through the process and were very patient with me. They did a great job explaining things and offering very good input. I would recommend them to anyone needing assistance with logo and website development!
