Because of the quantity of comments you receive, which I much appreciate, I recommend the page doctor for the initial copy of your personal statement. It did, however, make me less confident in my personal statement. However, some of the corrections don't make sense, and I appreciate that the editors have other obligations and are on a tight deadline.
This is the second time to use this service. The first time, I was very happy with the feedback/corrections.However, this second time I ended up average happy with the corrections. This came as, upon correction, the whole context of many primary sentences was changed, thus leading to false information or also to sentences that didn't make sense. This was the case for many sentences!I had to re-write many changed/corrected sentences all over again!!!I had the impression the review didn't get the points addressed which probably resulted in such changes.However, when the context of the sentences was not changed, I think the suggestions and editing were helpful to improve the quality of the material I submitted. I am not sure if the first editor had more experience in the field than the second one, but maybe sending the materials to the editors that best fit with the field would maybe be a suggestion to include in the submission procedure and also might significantly improve the potential feedbacks.
