Frustrating Experience with Service Cancellation

I started using their anti-virus in 2021 and added their VPN two years later. However, when I tried to expand my services in November 2025, everything fell apart. In August 2025, they canceled my VPN, which I had already fully paid for. Then in November, they terminated my lifetime anti-virus subscription and sold me a yearly package for $160.00 after I raised concerns about the cancellation of most of their services. Now, I am still waiting for a call back.

Negative Experience with Service

Lack of Customer Service Support

There is no customer service number available to discuss billing issues with a real person, and my emails have gone unanswered. This followed a promotion from the previous year that wasn't applied until I contacted a regulatory body. After that, they made unexplained changes to my account and I received no follow-up. As an elderly individual not well-versed in technology, I was let down by the lack of support from a company that claims to be U.S.-based.

Technical Support Issues

A few days ago, I noticed a scan was stuck at 25% after 17 hours. I contacted technical support, but the technician could not resolve the problem. I was advised to uninstall the current version and reinstall an older one, which only worsened my issues. Despite advertising phone support, they do not actually provide it. Now, I can't scan at all and am left with an outdated version on my desktop. A simple phone call would have been beneficial, yet that option is not available.

Disappointing Experience

I had a terrible experience! My computer was ruined two months ago and hasn't been connected to the internet, yet I continued to receive emails claiming they scanned and fixed my inactive computer. Their responses were vague and unhelpful. I believe this company is a scam; they took my money for five years and delivered nothing.

Disappointment with Billing Practices

As patriotic consumers, we believed in your 'made in the USA' claim and subscribed to your service. However, despite advertising $50 annually for five devices, we were charged $211.44. In June 2024, we were told we were no longer covered, yet no refund was provided. Repeated attempts to contact customer service were unsuccessful, as it seems they avoid direct communication. This year, they charged us again, and we are fed up. We expected better service from a company that promotes American values.

Wishing for a Lower Rating

I wish I could rate them lower. They took over $600 and I ended up spending four days fixing my PC myself. I had to wipe another computer and install a different OS to recover my files. They market themselves as a solution to tech issues but are nowhere to be found when you need help. They are worse than useless.
