The Thorncroft website is one of the best I have ever used. The amount of information about clematis is vast, but it is arranged to make it very easy to identify which clematis will be appropriate for your garden. It all starts from the pruning groups and these are explained very clearly. Once you see which pruning group you need you can start to select colour, size, aspect, suitability for containers.....Limiting your choice is the only problem. The plants are carefully packed in strong boxes, but you may need a sharp stanley knife to open it.
The Clematis I received was very healthy, well packaged and in excellent condition. A great leaflet with clear planting, growing and pruning instructions for all Clematis was included in the package. I found it very useful and followed the instructions to the letter, and I've kept it for future reference.

At Thorncroft Clematis we stock over 400 different clematis & climbing plants, they are sold to you as mature two year old plants which are mostly grown in a 3 litre pot and we send them out all year round.
Although we are a Mail Order company we do have some open days each year which will be advertised on our website and through our social media and email marketing platforms.
You can also collect orders onsite by ordering through our website and selecting Click & Collect at the checkout. Collection day is Friday.
