some imbecile must have picked this meeting place for coffee. Music so loud I got a migraine and had to shout to talk to anyone. Plus this was in a high crime area Can't believe I had to pay for this experience
The service is quite misleading. After committing to a discounted rate, I was charged extra, which feels dishonest and unethical. Once payment was made, customer support was inadequate—only delayed email replies, no direct contact, and no accountability. The grouping of users is disappointing. There is no consideration for age or compatibility, making the whole experience awkward and pointless. Individuals from vastly different age groups and mindsets are randomly combined without any logic. Overall, it seems poorly organized, badly managed, and not worth the expense at all. I wouldn't recommend this platform to anyone seeking a meaningful or comfortable social interaction.
I've been attempting to cancel my subscription for two weeks, but I'm unable to do so. The cancellation option is missing in the app, preventing me from proceeding. I sent an email about this issue, but my account remains active. While the service is decent, customer support for cancellation is severely lacking, given the absence of the necessary option in the app. I cannot recommend this due to the difficulties I've faced in canceling my subscription.
I've been trying to cancel my subscription for two weeks now, but it's still not possible. The cancellation option isn't available in the app's settings, making it impossible for me to proceed. I reached out via email, but my account remains active. The dinners are enjoyable, but the customer service for cancellation is lacking, especially since the app doesn't provide the necessary option. I wouldn't recommend this due to the challenges in canceling the subscription.
Unfortunately, I arrived at the venue at 7 PM, and although the bar wasn't busy, there were no marked tables. I asked three staff members about table 1, but when I went to that table, it was reserved for an office party. The usual organization was clearly missing this time. I had no way to communicate with my group, and I was left confused about who was there. After waiting for 40 minutes, I decided to leave.
I was unable to join any dinners, even though my one-month payment went through. After several attempts, my password was not accepted, preventing me from setting up my account, and my payment was not linked to me. I questioned why payment was requested before an account was established. I sent two emails for assistance but received no response. After posting this review, I was contacted and refunded, which I appreciate.
I appreciate what the app aims to achieve, and I've heard positive feedback from friends who travel. However, in my area, it doesn't seem to be as effective. I hope to use it when I relocate or travel, but currently, there are issues such as people not showing up or arriving late, showing more interest in post-dinner activities than participating. It appears to cater more to introverts rather than travelers like myself, which is disappointing.
I used to enjoy this app, but they've become overly focused on profit. As an evening shift worker, I can only use the service a few times a year. I didn't mind the one-time fee, but now they've switched to a monthly subscription that is not feasible for my situation. When I reached out to explain, they dismissed my concerns, claiming a monthly membership would enhance user experience. I requested escalation but never received a reply. It's unfortunate that they've lost sight of what truly fosters friendships.
