Review Time
Like many of the reviewers here, I used this service and was charged 10p but 24hrs later they took £49.90 that I had not authorised. Called my card provider and they put a stop on any further charges from this company and advised about chargeback to get my money back.I emailed the PDF company and complained and managed to get the subscription deactivated. They did respond but only about the subscription. (Note initial response from them is an automated response telling you how to deactivate the subscription- which tells you everything you need to know about the emails they get!) I kept emailing and after a couple of days they came back with the 50% refund and the service would be available for me to use for 6 months. No way was I getting it reactivated to then get caught again so I emailed back saying it was not acceptable and I wanted a full refund. This time they came back saying they would give me the full refund and it would take 3 business days. Thought this might be a delaying tactic to stop me emailing them, but one day later I get the notification saying the refund had been processed. Hallelujah! So now I just need to keep checking my account to see if it really comes through. But the summary of this is that keep emailing (even if you haven’t had a response). It will take about a week of constant emailing. Note they only seem to email back once a day. Hope this gives others hope
Absolute scam of a company. They charge you .10 for your download, then they bill you £49.90 for a monthly subscription. No agreement is sent to you and Yiu don't realise you have signed up for a monthly subscription. PayPal is supposed to protect vendors from things like this, yet when disputed PayPal sided with the vendor? Looks like Paypal is getting a kickback from customers who have been scammed. Absolute disgrace. And foreigners wonder why people hate them. It's because of foreign companies like this taking advantage of innocent people. Absolute disgrace. And Paypal is just as much to blame for allowing it to happen.
So I wanted to colour a photo, the site asked me for 10p, didn't ask me to sign up of agree to terms and conditions or gave me a pricing structure. Then just like all the others I was charged £49.90. They did offer 50% refund but have passed this to RBS fraud department. I broke my own rules but not reading the reviews first!! 21st Century carpet baggers..
