My 19 year old son got his first car from wednesbury trade centre and they sold him a car with a hole in the catalytic converter also the clutch was about to go and they fitted new clips on the back of the front wheels which were never even put on properly he brought it to learn to drive in but the last month he hasn't been able to use it after alot of heated conversation they agreed to have the car back and do the repairs they have now had his car for over 2 weeks now and after many phone calls after being told twice that someone was working on the car as we speak was a load of bull crap because we phoned last Friday to find out they haven't even started the car my son is devastated he has a driving test in May but he hasn't been able to learn in his car it's absolutely disgusting how they have treated him also the after sales at WEDNESBURY is ridiculous we have requested a call back loads of times over the last 2 weeks only to get a call back twice and when we did get in touch with them they told us a load of bull crap anyway because they hadn't even started his car trade centre should be ashamed of themselves 😡😡

After deciding I wanted a career change I looked into becoming an electrician. As a woman looking to move into a very male dominated industry I was worried that I would not be taken seriously. I tried a couple of colleges but felt they didn’t take me seriously however after meeting the team at the City of London College they put me at ease and assured me they would. I’m so pleased to have chosen them as they have been so helpful. I’m nearly at the end of the Level 2 Diploma in Electrical Installations and I’ve already signed up to do the Level 3 with them.
I've started in July 2019 with level 2 and I wasn't sure I ll be able to keep the pace... I'm not native, not so young. At the college I've discovered two wonderful people, one of them is my trainer David ( a real professional teacher, highly supportive, with a patience annoying ....for the students that are working also home) the other person I'll challenge you to discover by yourself.About the course I can tell you it can't be easy as long you are not determined and ready for hard work, if you wait the trainer to learn with you....this course is not for you...you need to study by yourself and in the class you'll clarify the aspects and especially benefit from the sharing info of the trainer....David knows to highlight exact the aspects that I found during the exam. I can assure you, I never left the classroom without any of my questions deeply clarified by the trainer. About the college I can said what they promised they delivered (except finishing on time the course :))...I know was lockdown) , always listen and trying to help and answer affirmative to my request. For sure my experience with this college was just perfect!
This centre is a great opportunity for starting electricians on Level 2 and great weekend course on Level 3 for advanced electricians mates being on the job already. Ask the centre advisor for your career path options, they provide you with excellent advice, facilities are of high standard, admin Monika is very attentive and helpful. Derek the tutor answers any questions. On line access to your materials is perfect. Centre is very close to most main train and underground links. Place is in Zipcar zone if you use it for travel. Perfect for those to study on weekend ! I recommend.
