The gentleman was very easy to understand. He understood what I needed. And did it. No questions asked. Very kind. Offered some other options and when I said no did not pressure me.
I was denied access to my account after I was charged for it through my credit card. Customer service advised me that when charging my credit card, my account was flagged as potential fraud or a potential fraudulent event, although per my credit card company, my credit card was charged for a one month subscription. Customer service advised me my account was deactivated and I would be refunded what my credit card was charged. I was not attempting anything fraudulent. I instructed customer service to block my credit card from future charges by your company and cancel my account so your company would not attempt to charge my credit card again for another month’s subscription!! I will never attempt to use your services again and I will never give your company a good review or referral!!
Tried to cancel this before the free trial ended and it took 10 MONTHS before being able to cancel. Was refunded about 15% of what I was charged over the course of the fraudulent membership.
I am a new user to TruthFnder. I switched from a competitor when they shut me off because I used up my one hundred searches per month in just three days (they did not tell me that I would have to pay double the price to do more). I am trying to track down 350 missing classmates for a 50th reunion.
The TruthFinder report is much better. I alsohave the ability to copy with a single click the phone number address and email and fill it in on our classmate spreadsheet.
I wish that it was possible to search by maiden name and by high school, but apparently TruthFinder does not offer those options.
I picked up where I left off on the list after canceling the other vendor and queried the next five names. This is my issue with TruthFnder, and the reason for only two stars. Of those five names , only two were found nationwide. So I decided to search on myself and my wife. They had full records on my wife and they had a link to me on one of those records. But when I clicked on my name, it reported that no one was found. I am out there because I pulled my own report on the competitor's tool. When I searched directly for myself nationwide, no one was found. I called customer service and they had no explanation for why four of seven searches came up, no one was found. I believe my call was sent offshore for support and the two people that I spoke to today were not people that I would hire if I was running a customer support center because they could not think independently; they could only give me canned answers from preset choices.
Again, the report is outstanding...If you can get it. But if they're going to have a fifty percent fail rate on searches, they are not worth the money.
The cancelation is impossible and they charge you every thing they can suck out of your account. It's very frustrating I tried to cancel in less then 24 hours the call line doesn't even ring the website gets NO NO response. The emails only auto reply. They charged me 3 different ways.
I was charged a total of almost 90 dollars and used it for 4 hours on a few checks and it was not helpful it said to get my full background check they'd charge me again. Very unhelpful and the whole thing just sucks huge charge,no response and not helpful at all. DO NOT under any circumstances let them con you into sharing information. They don't have it anyway and you will be charged the rest of your life with no apology on their end. They just happily continue draining your account.
I was checking my credit card statement and mistakenly signed up twice after thinking the first account was a one-time access fee for 1 month. Mathiaf was very helpful in explaining what happened and found both of my accounts. He canceled the one account I had not accessed in months and refunded me for 2 of the months. I am very thankful for his assistance.
3 or 4 categories have said _information coming" - it never comes. This has been for months now. I was going to cancel, however, I talked to a rep and he saw exactly what it was going and will escalate the issue to a supervisor.
Reliable source for information. However, I accessed the website just once and believed I had cancelled before the trial period concluded. I contacted the support team hoping to receive a refund for charges incurred after the trial period, but I was informed that this was against the company's policy. I only utilized the service during the trial.
This service is untrustworthy! They will continue to charge you even after you cancel your subscription. I canceled my subscription, and their website confirms I am no longer a subscriber. However, they still charged my card. The only way I could stop them was by asking my card company to block all transactions from them. There are other, more reliable options available.
