It gets worse every time I try it. Match is an awful website for dating. The women on there simply don't respond. You get the same women looking at your profiles often. However, no matter what you say to them, they won't message you back. Don't waste your time, effort or money on this website!

Please take on board all the negative reviews on this site. They are accurate. Match is not interested in matching people...it is not in their business interest. They want you to continue paying them money for a totally broken service. Their IT dept and customer service is the worst I have come across. Unsubscribed profiles still visible, profiles from Europe!!, your own profile not fully visible unless you pay extra for a boost. This company were previously investigated and fined...nothing has improved since.. they should be publicly shamed and shut down. Don't give them your money!!

I have only given one star, not because you can't give no stars but because they are worth one star, they have changed the free to view and now its so limited the that its pointless. I am not encouraged to subscribe because of this but less likely to, the suggestions are mostly so far away its pointless, and as my subscription ran out, they took money from my account, which they had done a number of times before even after I cancelled it on my profile page, this time however they wouldn't reimburse me.
I think I'll look elsewhere, match have had enough of money now.

The latest Match update has been a disaster with no warning to subscribers it was happening or explanation for the ongoing problems. Total silence from Match.
I now can't log out.
I am described as 66cms tall.
My subscription expiry date has been altered to the 4th Feb when it should say 4th April.
Some men's location states Alaska when I know they are in the uk.
Views to my profile are not listed in date order any longer. The list goes on.
I have contacted customer service several times but no reply after 3 days. No phone number or any other way of discussing issues.
This company is operating a service which is totally broken. They are unprofessional, unethical and seem hell bent on ensuring people do not find anyone to date. Avoid this site at all costs.

Chatbots replace real support, and it's obvious.

Chatbots take the place of real people, and it's quite apparent. I believe there are better options available, based on my previous positive experiences elsewhere. I decided to leave after dealing with some issues regarding their support team. The main issue is their tendency to charge for another year when you wish to cancel. Their terms and conditions have loopholes that enable this. Unfortunately, there's not much you can do except block your credit card. When you're let down by their service for not fulfilling their promises, they inform you that your account doesn't qualify for a refund. This seems to be a common practice.

The new app is a complete failure.

The new app is a complete failure. I can't access any profiles, it fails to load, and it keeps saying my internet is down. I'm frequently locked out and receive messages about issues with my account. Additionally, the service decides which photo is set as your main one, removing the ability to choose your primary image! To the company: instead of squandering subscriber funds on a failed app update, why not invest in a mandatory facial recognition system to help eliminate scammers? Honestly, can it get any worse?

Disappointing app focused on profit rather than impact

This app, like many others, seems more interested in generating revenue than actually making a positive difference in people's lives. It's unfortunate. Many users either don't respond or aren't active, which says a lot about the community. The technology has the potential to create real change if the company truly wanted to, and it could also lead to significant financial success.

Disappointing Experience with Membership

I was a fully paid member from March to September 2025, and during that time, I had a few genuine interactions, but unfortunately, they weren't for the right reasons. I encountered a few near liaisons and potential matches, maybe a dozen in total. However, once my membership expired, I noticed a 400% increase in views and likes, which prompted me to resubscribe, only to find that they had all disappeared. I even purchased a month's subscription over Christmas to explore the options, but there was absolutely no interaction. As soon as my membership ended, the views and likes surged again by the same 400%. It feels like a scam; the service seems to be driven solely by profit. Wishing the best to those still investing in this platform, but I won't be doing so again.

Regrettable decision to sign up for 6-month plan

I deeply regret signing up for a 6-month installment at £13.99 per month. The website is filled with fakes and scams. I attempted to cancel within the 14-day period as stated in the terms and conditions, but was unsuccessful. The site seems to be managed by individuals who only care about taking your money. I strongly advise avoiding this service; it’s a complete waste of time.
