Had issue with poor fitting of…

Had issue with poor fitting of windscreen (a draught was felt at the top and water droplets) by auto windcreen, took it back to be rectified to be told they couldn't do it until the following week. Contacted uk car glass with photos, they arranged a refit by auto windscreen next day. All is ok now bar the fact they didn't clean the glass after and poor fitting of scuttle panel trim due to different contour of the screen.

Efficient and friendly service

I needed the windscreen replacing on my Renault Clio. UK Car Glass were able to book me in within a couple of days of me getting in touch with them. The fitter arrived on time, asked for my car key and said he'd crack on and let me know when it was done, and that's exactly what happened. He'd fitted the windscreen within 45 minutes, knocked on to let me know it was sorted and when to remove the tape holding it in place. Really friendly and efficient service and I'd absolutely use again - although I hope I don't need to!

Absolutely awful!

Absolutely Awful!Initial message told us we’d get a call 30 mins before they arrive…. The call came to say “We are here” (they weren’t) but we eventually located them at a neighbour’s.Windscreen got replaced quickly and, on leaving, I was told to leave the two stickers on for an hour. They were gone so quickly I couldn’t even point out the oil leaks from their van that are now on our drive, grrr.Having washed the vehicle, we discovered the new windscreen leaks, so I called the UK Car Glass number given to ask for help only to be told I can’t wash it for four days. The “lads” were apparently next to him and claimed to have told me that. When I explained that that was an absolute lie as they only gave me the key back and said to leave the two stickers on for an hour, and if I had known I would not have washed it, the rude man on the phone said “It’s common knowledge”. I don’t work in the windscreen replacement industry and it wasn’t common knowledge (nor to all the people I told about the awful service)!!!When I asked for the rude man’s name for our complaint, he told me it was UK Car Glass and eventually, after much reluctance, said he was called Gareth (though we expect that was yet another lie).All in all, an absolutely awful experience and we have their oil leaks on the drive now as reminder
