I signed an agreement to have my van picked up in Ohio and delivered to Kentucky. I made sure they knew that the van HAD TO BE picked up before Friday 10-17 at 3:00pm because the building and parking lot was sold. I did not know there was a problem until very late Saturday 10-18 after the pick up date. I did get the van picked up Monday 10-20 but after 3;00 o'clock I was informed that I would have to pay the delivery driver an extra $400.00 or my van would be left on the street where it was picked up

I paid a $230 deposit, with $780 due upon delivery. Later that same day, ShipWit emailed me stating that the delivery charge would now be $900, raising the total cost to $1,130 — a $120 increase with no change in service, location, or scope.This price change occurred after I signed the agreement and paid the deposit, which constitutes a bait-and-switch. If ShipWit had not confirmed pricing with a carrier, I should not have been given a firm written quote or been asked to sign a contract and pay a deposit.After I declined to pay the higher price, ShipWit should have either honored the original agreement, refunded my $230 deposit, or found another carrier at the agreed rate. I have contacted the company multiple times by phone and email with no resolution or refund.Requested Resolution: 1. Honor the original written agreement of $1,010 ($230 deposit + $780 due on delivery), or 2.
