After a really disappointing experience on the NHS where I was told two cysts had been removed only to later discover they hadn’t I decided to seek treatment privately with UK Skin. It was honestly the best decision I could have made.
I went to the Manchester Clinic.
From the very first consultation, the care and professionalism were outstanding. The clinic itself was immaculate, welcoming, and incredibly well run. What really stood out to me was that I was able to have both my consultation and surgery on the same day, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free.
My surgeon, Dr. Apostolos, was absolutely amazing. He was reassuring, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly, putting me completely at ease. During the procedure, he removed both cysts properly, as well as a mole and a skin tag. The surgery was handled with such precision and care I felt completely confident I was in safe hands.
The aftercare has been just as impressive. I’ve received emails and messages checking in on my recovery, which really shows how much they care about their patients even after the procedure is done.
Every aspect of my experience from the practice staff, to the surgery itself, to the follow-up care has been fantastic. I honestly could not recommend UK Skin highly enough. If you’re considering private treatment, they are worth every penny.

I recently visited the Manchester clinic for a Lipoma and Cyst removal procedure. Parking was conveniently located directly behind the clinic (first two hours free at the time of this review). On arrival, I was greeted by a friendly receptionist and before long, I was invited into an office where Dr. Dimitris checked some details with me, before we went into the operating room. Before starting, the staff ensured that I was comfortable and settled; the room was presented in a clean and tidy manner and, was of a pleasant temperature. Throughout the procedure, Dr. Dimitris kept me updated as to what he going to do next, before proceeding; I found the entire procedure to be a pain-free and almost relaxing experience. At the conclusion of the procedure, I met again with Dr. Dimitris in the office, and he took the time to explain the post-procedure care protocol to me.Overall, I had a very positive experience at the Manchester clinic and, my thanks go to all the staff who looked after me, in such a caring and professional manner, thank you.
I would 100% recommend UK skin! Down to the booking process to the consultation to the procedure they are brilliant! Happy to answer any questions you have an also all after care is all amazing! Surgeon and nurse were brilliant made me feel at ease!
From my arrival to the end of my procedure the staff where welcoming and friendly. They all made the experience so calming and relaxing. I would highly recommend anyone to get in contact with UKSKIN Manchester for any of the procedure they offer.
Honestly couldnt be happier, everyone made me feel so comfortable and safe! I highly recommend this place and will 110% be back, all the staff and surgeon was amazing, thank you guys so much for making it easier for me even when i felt soo self conscious ❤️
