🚨 DISCRIMINATED HUMILIATED MOCKED DISABLED MAN & STOLE $600,000+ PROPERTY HAVE DOCUMENTATION PROOF REPORT🚨
DO NOT TRUST THIS FACILITY. they stole HUMAN RENAINS ASHES
I have PROOF of criminal theft, forgery, and discrimination by the District Manager and staff:
THEY MOCKED ME: Staff openly laughed at my disability (unambulatory) and mocked my accent during a medical emergency instead of helping.
THEY LOOTED ME: I have evidence they cut my locks, entered my unit, and stole silver and antiques before any auction took place.
THEY SCAMMED ME: I WON my unit back at auction and PAID IN FULL. They took my money, refused to release my property, and secretly sold it the next morning for just $1,200 (a fraction of its value) to an insider.
THEY FORGED MY NAME: The contract has a signature that is not mine.
This isn't a business; it is a predatory trap. They destroyed my father's heirlooms and my life. I have filed a police report and am taking them to court.
THEY DID THIS TO DISABLED HANDYCAPED CITIZEN
STAY AWAY. entire management is corrupt DO NOT TRUST TELL EVERYONE
Do not use this company we lost all memories pictures cap and gowns years of trophies of which i know was all thrown away all a simple punishment as no one cam use any of those things. Sold for 180 dollars only for them to ask me to pay them. This is not the storage unit you want to use. They dont care about their customers or their situations. They sold my life for 180 dollars no 30 day notice after selling they contacted me as if they had not sold leading me to believe that my things were still safe. My things became infested with rodents rat droppings ruining my families clothes.
Don't rent from Public Storage, it's a scam. I originally rented a 10×15 unit for $99. They arbitrarily raise the rent, often twice in a year. My current rate is $634. They will auction off your stuff, as soon 2 weeks, if you're late. They prey on the people who rent the units, people who don't have the resources to fight back. Stay away from their facilities.
I do not recommend renting from this facility. They frequently impose significant rent increases, reaching up to 40% every three months, along with high fees for almost everything. I left a few empty (folded) boxes in the garbage area and was charged $75 for that! Moreover, the customer service from the female staff has been very unprofessional, discourteous, and rude.
This place promotes a special offer, yet it fails to mention that the rent will increase by $20 each month. Whenever I try to reach someone, I'm always asked to leave a message. It started at $120 in August, and now it's at $188, excluding any late fees. What's happening here?
I am formally escalating an unresolved issue regarding the service's failure to uphold a pricing agreement intended to address misleading advertising and unacceptable unit conditions at one of their locations.
Timeline & Facts (all verifiable):
1. I initially reserved a storage unit online at the local facility, based on the description and pricing shown on the platform.
2. Upon arrival, the unit did not match the advertisement:
o It was located on the second floor, instead of the first
o The door had a hole in it
o The facility was extremely dirty and poorly maintained.
3. I reached out to the regional representative, who acknowledged that the unit was not as promised and relocated me to another site with no transfer fee, explicitly stating that my monthly rate would be honored at the lower location price.
4. I signed my lease at the new site, and the first month was billed correctly, reflecting the agreed-upon rate.
5. Since then, my rent has increased twice, and I am now paying over $50 more per month, nearly double the promised rate.
6. For the past four months, I have:
o Called and left messages for the representative multiple times
o Visited the location in person
o Spoken directly with the property manager, who assured me that the representative would contact me.
He has never returned my calls.
This situation indicates a complete breakdown in communication, accountability, and customer service. I was moved to a different location because the service failed to deliver what was advertised, and now I am being financially penalized despite clear assurances.
What I am seeking:
• Immediate contact from the representative’s direct supervisor
• Restoration of my monthly rate to the original price, as agreed
• Retroactive correction and credit for the overcharges incurred
• Written confirmation that my rate will not continue to increase in violation of this agreement.
If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will consider:
• Filing a formal complaint with the BBB
• Submitting complaints to consumer protection agencies
• Documenting this experience publicly.
This situation has persisted far longer than is reasonable, and I expect immediate escalation and resolution. To date, I have made numerous attempts to contact the service with no success...
I went to Public Storage to look at facility.I am moving from California to Seattle in need of storage asap. The rep is refusing to give me information about dropping Pod.This is a Federal government move they should shut down the facility because area is not safe and customer service is horrible.

HORRIBLE - Avoid this location like the PlagueWe have had an indoor storage unit here for about 15 months. Not only have they raised the rent from $56 to $91 a month in that short period of time (advertised now for $34!) - these units are NOT SECURE, and they do not do any of the vital maintenance needed to keep it that way. It’s cold and not heated either, when it should be climate controlled. We have encountered (clearly) suspicious people entering the supposedly locked and attended property, and going into the supposedly locked & key coded building that our unit was in. Others have had their units broken into because of this! For the last 6 months, the sole elevator has been Out of Service, meaning that we have had to not only hand carry heavy items up and down the stairs - but the door to the stairs is always open, since it is the only access to the second floor. No key pad, nothing. Just a perpetually unlocked door. Trying to contact Public Storage about these issues has been a joke too. Their chat on their website conveniently encounters a problem every time I try to use it, and when trying to call - the agents just “take note” of the problems. We are moving out because of this, and it has taken us triple the time that it should because of the chronically broken elevator, and it‘s a back breaking job to carry a 5’ x 10’ unit worth of stuff down the stairs at our age. Several others having to haul awkward heavy boxes that we have passed in the stairwell have expressed the same frustration with this place. There are better storage facilities out there than this who won’t raise your rents arbitrarily for grossly subpar service.
