I have used ESET for five years or more…

I have used ESET for five years or more and I’ve never had one problem with a security breach. I haven’t been hacked and any threats have been quarantined and I was notified immediately. I just renewed it again for another two year subscription.

ESET's left hand and right hand

I already had ESET, and when I tried to renew it, things went wrong because I didn't have some code from 3 years before. So I bought the new ESET offered, but ESET never realized that I already had an account. I had to jump through all kinds of hoops, and didn't realize till my old account had expired, that I hadn't jumped through enough hoops. You need prompts that are more clear about what I have to do to get the account going. Plus I lost 3 weeks of overlapping coverage I never got credited for. Your left hand needs to know what your right hand is doing. I signed up for the new account July 9, 2025, and the old account didn't expire till July 31, 2025. On August 1, 2025, I had a notice that I had no protection, because I still had to install ESET or somesuch.
