I have been with Square for over a…

I have been with Square for over a year. I have paid exorbitant processing fees, and have met all criteria for the square loans program, but have not been extended an offer. I will probably be leaving square for lower processing fees through my bank. After a year and processing an average of over $2000 a month I mistakenly thought my business would be valued and appreciated, I guess I was wrong.

SQUARE IS THIEF

SQUARE IS THIEF! CROOKS! GARBAGE CO WITH STUPID RULES! Opened account, took $5K payment on Feb 12. from my legitimate customer in person, for my Vacation Rental property. Verified his ID matching his name.. 5 days later Square deactivated my account with zero explanation as to why. And stole my $5K payment. It’s been over 90 days their crooked hold time and no payment sent to me. Called them but they hung up on me saying I’ll get an email. Not gotten enail. I sent email requests for my funds to be released - no response. SQUARE SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED FOR FRAUD BY ATTORNEY GENERAL. Their illegal activity is beyond comprehension, allowing to open account and immidiately close once you take payment and steal it for over 3 months when it’s absolutely not their money is FRAUD! They’ll close your account, and steal your money. I’m not selling $5 bag of potatoes. My business is beach gorgeous properties in Miami Beach and staying in them cost few thousands rightfully so. I’m a verified Superhost on multiple platforms, and only needed square for many direct reservations I do, yet deactivate my account for no reason was beyond comprehension. Garbage co with stupid rules! MY RESPONSE TO SQUARE REPLY: They stated my Account was deactivated because of Breach of their Terms. By that they mean they just decided out of the blue they don’t support my business anymore. When I opened account they said they support. BECAUSE I HAVENT DONE ANYTHING WRONG, NOTHING. I’ve been processing my clients transactions & had no disputes. My business is Airbnb/STR nothing illegal about it. THATS WHY FOR 4mo THEY COULD NOT TELL ME WHAT RULE HAVE I BREACHED. It’s a Lie that deactivation email contains any specific info as to why. Their agents were hanging up on me refusing to assist, never got me to manager. They refer everyone to breach of rules which has 100 rules but can’t tell specifically what exact rule I breached. Despite I’ve asked that specialized agent many times. He wouldn’t respond. One CS agent responded I did nothing wrong, just square decided not to accept my type of business. What’s wrong with Airbnb Business? And my $5K payment was held for over 90days & no agent was willing to help till I wrote this review & only than they released it. But if I didn’t, they’d still kept it. That’s why SQUARE IS CROOK, SHADY, SCAM AND SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED BY ATTORNEY GENERAL
