Honestly beyond frustrated, this has been the worst experience ever. Square closed our account, with literally only 1 dispute that we will win out of over $40,000 in sales. They stole our funds and refuse to communicate any further. STAY FAR AWAY! They continue to charge us subscription fees. They blocked us on social media for sharing our experience. We switched to Stripe and recommend you do too before Square steals your money and blocks you on social media. Dirty thieves.
Square has made operating my small business a breeze. Taking payments, mobile payments, inventory management, and business management. Though it may seem slightly costly, it is worth every penny you spend. I am very happy with Square and will remain a loyal customer for a long time.
I originally used a major bank processor for my business more than 20 years ago. I transferred to square about 10 years ago. Very easy to use and set up. Now that I have transitioned to seasonal pop up markets, I am still using Square. There is no monthly charge so I am not paying for down time. Reports are easy to read and money is transferred in a timely manner. Overall, I am very pleased with Square. My only small complaint is that I have to keep two phones and two different apps available as some cards do not have the tap feature. One phone & app for tap sales. One phone and app for cards that must be swiped.
I had a square account 10 years ago with a different LLC and a Different EIN. I was unaware there was a charge back and now in may of 2024. The new company with a different name and LLC and Different EIN number had money taken from it. These were and are two different separate Entities
My square has been great for receiving payments for me as well as my customers. The secure links are easy and convenient. I was not happy with the automated system however, my customer service representative, Mabea, turned that entire experience around and she was a sheer pleasure! She single handedly saved the 5 star rating for me.
My experience with Square has been an absolute nightmare. The company deactivated my account with little explanation and, to add insult to injury, promised a 90-day hold on my funds in the deactivation email. Fast forward 11 months, and my money is still being unjustly held hostage.The level of frustration and helplessness in trying to resolve this matter is beyond words. Square's customer support has proven to be utterly unhelpful, providing no concrete answers or resolution to the ongoing financial entanglement. It's disheartening to see a company that boasts about facilitating seamless transactions treat its users with such blatant disregard.I strongly caution anyone against using Square for their payment processing needs. The prolonged hold on my funds has not only affected my financial stability but also eroded any trust I had in Square as a reliable service provider. This 11-month ordeal is a testament to Square's lack of accountability and customer-centric values. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for a payment service that values its users.
