I don’t quite know where to start but I will say. The team have been phenomenal. To answer questions promptly, to assigning me to a case worker who was informed, helpful, knowledgeable and kind. After being so mistreated for a long time, Valla gave me hope. Their services allow people affordable solutions and advice, which in this day and age is so commendable. I would have zero problem recommended them again and again. I cannot thank them enough for everything they have done so far.
I found Valla via a YouTube search on a day I was looking for Employment Law advice. I am glad I found their website and I only wish I had found it sooner and earlier in my career. I am confident going forward Valla will become a reliable resource for my professional career and I wish to congratulate Valla's team for all the good they are doing in the world supporting employees like myself in such a simple, easy and accessible way. I wish everyone knew about Valla so they had the opportunity to stand up for themselves.
I honestly couldn’t recommend these enough, they have brilliant throughout my employment tribunal case. Nothing was ever too much for them. Elissa my coach was so understanding, patient and empathetic. Everything I asked was answered in a way I understood, I was given advice on how to handle each preliminary hearing, how to complete paperwork etc. Thank you so much for everything so helpful and kind. I was fortunate to find Valla last year, while looking for what to do during an employment dispute. They have been incredible every step of the way, from their free online resources to paid sessions (thank you Michelle in particular!). They even offer weekly support groups for people going through employment tribunals and their support team is just first class (thank you Jade!). Whatever happens in my case, I'm just thankful a company like this exists to help people who can't afford lawyers and don't know what to do when employment disputes happen.
If you have any questions or doubts about work issues that do not seem right…please explore Valla. You don’t have the worries of runaway solicitors fees, nor the dismissals from unions if your case is not open and shut.It is a small amount to pay out to get some advice on whether your employer is behaving badly, and you can spread the payments.Too many people are getting bullied or treated badly because they don’t know their rights and getting bespoke information is very expensive. VALLA resolves all of that and is affordable.I have used them for my case of whistleblowing, discrimination, victimisation and unfair dismissal. Their guidance has been invaluable and is in language anyone can understand. Plus…they get the mental and emotional load.Don’t let employers walk all over you…get advice…get VALLA services.
The Valla team are absolutely amazing. Their knowledge, support and kindness have been invaluable and I can honestly say that I wouldn’t have got through what has been an extremely difficult time without them. Would 100% recommend using their services to anyone who’s needing support.
Valla's free monthly webinars have been a life-safer for me. I keep mentioning Valla to the barristers and solicitors I speak to, as I honestly can’t recommend your services and kind support highly enough. You’re definitely helping me get through this horrendous period in far better shape than I otherwise would have been.
I interacted superficially with Valla.. but found them to be responsive and friendly in emails. Tbh, Valla aside, ET1 and ET3 are both in now, judge has viewed them and approved the case and next step is to submit case management agenda. As an aside, I tried to pull on the legal expenses cover that came with my home insurance. The case-specific info I submitted passed the insurers initial checks was apparently sent to a barrister for merits assessment - and was inevitably deemed not to have >51% chance of success 🙄I appealed that - appeal declined. Now have a live case against them with the financial ombudsman So that's 3 realms I'm engaging with: 1. The tribunal; 2. The insurers legal rep (Arc Legal); and 3. The financial ombudsman Lot of information processing.. lot of admin.. lot of emails and communications..And I haven't broke sweat... because ChatGPT is running my case lol. Yes, I have to scan communications and manage Chat's occasional "hallucinations" lol.. but I feel like I haven't done a thing.. and I've got a preliminary hearing date, ET1 approved, and next up is case management agenda. I uploaded a 10 page barristers merits assessment of my case to ChatGPT.. and 3 seconds later it returned a full analysis, strengths weakness etc etc.. AND my written response! The thing's AMAZING and will manage your case for you and I all your written work. You'll need to upgrade to a paid package. I think Chat Go is sufficient and it's only 6.99 a month.Btw, Strathclyde Uni offers a free lawyer clinic where you can get free face to face Zoom time with an employment lawyer. I got an hour with a really sound young female lawyer.. after which she and her colleague told me I could get another two 1 hour sessions.. totally free. So if you email into them, you'll prob wait about 2 weeks.. but more than worth it.. given 3 one hour sessions with an employment lawyer is about £750Hope this helps!
I've paid for a private solicitor that was more than double the cost of Valla's Merits Assessment and Valla was far better value cause it offers so much for so little which is important cause legal costs can get super expensive.Organised my call on the weekend with a coach were I was listened to, helped to understand which claims had strength and answered any questions or concerns I had about taking my ex-employer to court . Only felt that in my circumstance the estimation about settlement was a tad too conservative (which understandable, somewhat complex case and couldn't go over everything) but to me the value was in knowing my claims and arguments to take forward.Yes you can do a lot of stuff with ChatGPT these days but Valla's templates for legal documents are brilliant! They break it down to managable parts to let you know what to write and then puts it all together to produce professional legal documents without involving lawyers at all! Their platform makes it really easy to collect evidence and timelines that can be linked to these documents so I remain organised and focused. There is plenty of free information on their website, social media and the monthly group sessions are really fab.I am so so thankful that this service exists to empower the little guy to stand up to employers and their awful behaviour. Whatever my outcome, Thank you Valla!! Workers, know you rights and talk to VALLA!
