We were made to feel like stars. Everyone was so kind. We had our hair and make-up done, and learned hair tips to take away. And then we had the best time with Matteo as he took such an amazing collection of pictures, making choosing our selection with Niall a joyful challenge. I'd recommend this for families, couples, friends, and even bridal showers.I may book another session for my son as a gift.
Fantastic experience at Vanity Studios. Lovely bunch of people, they made us very comfortable and looked after us really well. The photographer was very friendly and very good at helping us be at ease and not freeze up! The photos very really beautiful, difficult to choose just a few from the many that were clicked.Lots of good snacks and drinks which is a plus!
As grandmother I was doing a birthday shoot for me, my daughter and her two kids. I paid a deposit of £40 then I was told that it was £75 per adult person to hold the date. Then when I came to pay the deposit they said that as one of the children is over the age of 13 ( 13 an adult) I have to pay another £75 deposit. I told him that it was too expensive and I couldn’t afford it . I was informed when I originally did the £40 deposit that the children would be free when I gave the representative the ages of the children he got in contact with someone via the phone and they said it was okay.I believe this is a modern day scam as you agreed to certain aspects of the studio. The prices go up and up and up and up therefore them obtaining quite a few people‘s deposit money of £40 with no refund available. I have had my photos done with different studios over the years so I’m not a novice with using photo Studios. I would not recommend this one to anybody else.
Update 12 Oct 2025 - after a number of emails back and forth, Stephan (who did the sales package for us) rang me to confirm that I was correct in what I was stating and it was his error in not processing the final bit of the order. He confirmed that the outstanding part of my order was now processed and I would be receiving it. It is now nearly 6 weeks since that conversation and I have NOT received it!Original Complaint - Vanity Studios had a stand at the Move-it dance convention & sold us a package. However, they did not tell us there would be extra costs for booking the photoshoot & that they don't provide details of their packages until you are ready to buy. It is all done under a pressurised sales technique. They get good reviews by offering a free photo. Whilst some of the experience was good it was spoiled by a number of factors. We were told the experience would take 3 hours... we were there for over 5 hours and over half of that time waiting around. You are forced to sit down with someone and go through the photos one by one. We asked if we could view them a different way as we had a very long journey ahead of us. We didn't get to leave until after 8pm. We were offered a deal on a package as a gesture of goodwill due to the inconvenience we had experienced but after part of our order not arriving I chased them.... to find it was revoked and we were asked to pay more money! This will not be happening! I would recommend NOT using this company due to the way they conduct their business, high pressurised sales techniques... they simply cannot be trusted!
I gave the photoshoot voucher which I bought in a mall (from an agent) to my daughter and her friend for their 18th birthday. At no time were we informed about costs/packages for pictures. The girls were excited and liked the photoshoot but got roped into signing an agreement for a loan to buy the photos for £1050 which they are struggling to pay as they technically do not have a job. We do not know how Vanity arranged a loan for a student who is just out of school. The finance was arranged by Vanity Studios and when I contacted them they informed that they are unable to do anything about this and we need to contact the finance company! This is disappointing. Also, there was pressure put on the girls to buy the pictures which should never have been done. Overall, the experience has left a sour taste and I will not recommend their after sales customer care to anybody.
