I ordered some waffles on 11 february online, the ordering process was ok. Nothing to mention the following delay in delivery, its now 24 february and still no delivery of waffles. I emailed the support on 16 february and got a pathetic non commital excuse back from them saying:
"Thank you for your message. I’m sorry to hear that you have not received your parcel yet, we completely understand how frustrating delays can be.
After a longer break due to our warehouse relocation, we are happy to let you know that starting next week we will be fully operational again and shipping will resume."
Its now 8 days since this and still no delivery or email confirming dispatch.
I placed my order on December 31th after seeing that the website advertised “fast delivery” (2–3 days via DHL). Based on this, I expected to receive my order quickly.
Today is January 28th, and I still have not received anything.
I contacted customer service several times and received no response at first. Later, they said in a complaint email that my order would be sent “by the end of January.” This was never mentioned before placing the order.
Advertising 2–3 day delivery and then delaying orders for almost a month is very misleading. If delivery takes weeks, this should be clearly stated on the website.
I am extremely disappointed with the lack of transparency and poor communication.
AVOID!!!!!! SCAM!!! Like the many many people on here I ordered waffles on the 16th December, to this day (25th January) still not recieved my order despite nemerous emails promising delivery by a certain day, then that day comes along and they move the date back. Now I’m told it will be dispatched by the end of January. Total scam. They should stop lying to customers and scamming people, AVOID AT ALL COSTS
I placed my order on December 16, 2024, and as of January 12, 2025, there is still no update on its status. Communication has been lacking, with no clear indication of when my order will be shipped, yet the company continues to send promotional offers for additional purchases. If you're considering this for a gift, it's best to order at least three months ahead to prevent any disappointment!
I placed an order on December 12 (€100) and have yet to receive anything. I've received three emails about delays related to Black Friday, but there has been no delivery and no clear resolution. The delays are excessive and reflect a lack of professionalism. This will be my first and last experience.
I placed two orders and haven't received anything. There have been no responses to my messages, and I can't escalate the issue. The tracking number I received is non-functional, leading me to believe this is a company that may be either dishonest or lacking in competence. It's disappointing to see such behavior during the holiday season.

We ordered the plain stroopwafels and found them to be absolutely delightful! The careful packaging is beautiful and executed with great attention to detail. The decorative tins are charming, and the product quality is superb. We are now enthusiastic fans and eagerly anticipate future purchases! DELICIOUS!

Van Wonderen opende haar eerste winkel op de karakteristieke Kalverstraat. Onze winkels dragen haar naam op aan de opa van oprichter Colin van Wonderen: Gerard van Wonderen (1907). Het idee voor een ambachtelijke stroopwafelwinkel en de liefde voor de Nederlandse koeken ontstond namelijk al jaren geleden. Zo’n 25 jaar geleden ontdekte Colin de warme Stroopwafel. Samen met zijn opa ging hij in de weekenden naar de markt en mocht daar een verse warme stroopwafel bestellen. Na een aantal jaar binnen diverse branches te ondernemen, ontstond de mogelijkheid om een eigen stroopwafel concept op te richten. Een test met familie en vrienden bleef niet lang uit, een glimlach en veel smakelijke gezichten waren het resultaat. De warme stroopwafel die Colin door zijn opa Gerard van Wonderen had leren eten, werd terug in het leven geroepen! Inmiddels zijn we heel wat blije gezichten verder en weten veel mensen onze winkel met Hollandse stroopwafel koeken te vinden.Onze missie?
