After being denied at the last moment, I felt compelled to share my experience regarding how the company managed our application throughout the entire process, which was quite traumatic. The complaints team promised to investigate our issues and reach out to us. Eight weeks have passed with no updates. The communication from this company is appalling and leaves much to be desired. We received mixed messages, and it seems like the underwriters are overwhelmed, as neither we nor our broker have been given a clear and transparent explanation for the denial. It feels like a blessing in disguise, as I'm sure a chocolate teapot would be more functional.
The underwriter managed the application process with remarkable efficiency. He was quick to respond to all my inquiries and requests, which was vital given the tight timeline for the applicants. I’m very satisfied that I could assist my client in a challenging situation, and this was only achievable thanks to the help from the underwriter and the service.

Unacceptable delays and incompetence in underwriting: A cautionary tale for fellow brokers. With over a decade of experience in mortgage brokerage, I am shocked by the service level and operational failures from the underwriting team. The application was submitted on October 13th, 2025, and as of November 25th, 2025, I'm still waiting for final information requests. The case was initially assigned to an underwriter who was not fully authorized and only escalated today. The lender's acknowledgment that this should have been addressed weeks ago is an inadequate response to the distress caused to my clients. This serious lack of process control is intolerable. I cannot recommend their underwriting services based on this disastrous experience.
