Title: Order lost and payment never released – no real support
I sold an item on Vinted for €120 which was sent for authenticity verification as required by the platform.
The parcel was shipped and tracking later showed it was marked as “return to sender”, but it was never returned to me and never reached the verification center.
The transaction has been suspended for more than two months and I have received neither the item nor the payment.
Support responses have mostly been automated and when they finally asked for more information, the case was automatically closed after 24 hours even though the issue was still unresolved.
At this point I have:
• no item
• no payment
• no clear explanation
For a platform that handles thousands of transactions, losing a parcel and leaving the seller without a resolution for months is unacceptable.
I am currently escalating this case through European consumer protection channels.

I don’t likev vinted restricting the use of one bank account in multiples acounts, also it justifies very late what your announcement was shouted down and he AI that they work with is not that helpful

The only downside I see, which I think isn’t the app’s fault, is the number of listings for items where people may not genuinely intend to make a purchase.
I tried to sell a backpack from Portugal to France, but the shipping fee provided by the platform via UPS was almost three times the selling price. Charging €350 for shipping a backpack is excessive. A quick search with other reputable carriers showed costs between €20 and €30. The platform did not provide alternatives to UPS. Unfortunately, the sale fell through.
