These escape rooms are great. Very challenging. We did one with a group of people in the same room. And we have done a few using the in game video chat. The video chat works amazing. The games and graphics and puzzles were very well done. Highly recommend to buy and try it out!
Love these challenges! We've now done three as a group of friends, and it's been brilliant. The games are fun and thought out...sometimes a little too well! For anyone else deciding to embark on a challenge, they aren't lying when they grade difficulty level!
These games are super fun! My long-distance boyfriend and I made a date night out of it and had a great time:) Sometimes they had trouble syncing up if one of us did something in the room but overall we enjoyed it.
When it comes to virtual escape rooms, this service stands out as one of the frontrunners in the industry. The feature allowing team members to explore independently rather than having one person share a screen is a brilliant idea! (5/5). Our group has experienced Artifact Island (3/5, enjoyable concept, but the graphics seem a bit dated), Merlin’s Castle (4/5, intricate storyline, impressive visuals, but encountered some bugs), The Saloon (5/5, excellent experience and puzzles, story was average), and Murder in the Alley (5/5, engaging storyline, multiple settings, very immersive). While there's another virtual provider that excels in graphics and narratives, this service offers the best overall user experience we've encountered.
We've enjoyed every game and are looking forward to the next one. All of the games were fantastic... the only one that felt a bit underwhelming was possibly Murder in the Alley (might have the name slightly incorrect). Overall, these games are a wonderful way to bring the family together, and even our 10-year-old stayed engaged throughout!
Among the finest online escape rooms available. I've tried many from various providers, and this service offers some of the most visually appealing options. The Saloon and Artifact Isle stand out as my top picks. Great graphics and challenging puzzles make for a worthwhile investment for a fun evening with friends. I highly suggest everyone use a computer for the best experience! :)
The low rating is mainly due to the game itself and not necessarily a reflection of the company. The game was devoid of a compelling narrative or clear objectives, offering little variety in puzzles. It felt like a series of combination locks with solutions that lacked logical connections. This resulted in a tedious and unengaging experience. It seemed like puzzles were included just for the sake of it, often being repetitive. I cannot endorse this game.
The low rating is a reflection of the game itself and not necessarily the company overall. The game lacked a narrative or clear objectives beyond the initial description, and the puzzles showed little variety. It was a repetitive cycle of combination locks with solutions that didn’t logically connect to the puzzles. Overall, it was a dull experience and not enjoyable. I cannot recommend this game.
We do in-person escape rooms about once a year, so while we're not experts, we know what to expect. For online rooms, we choose a certain platform and have enjoyed every room we've tried. They incorporate puzzles similar to those in physical games, making it accessible even for my elderly mother. If you're familiar with escape rooms, the puzzles will make sense, but you will need to put in some effort to find the solutions.
The clues were difficult to find, and the scene was extremely dark. It was challenging to piece together clues based on what was provided. Overall, I cannot recommend this to friends or family, and I regret spending my money on this lackluster experience.
