I had LNC Pro, a competitor, for years, and this station WatchNewsPro is a game changer. Not only can I watch it on my laptop, but they also have an application that I can download on my Roku TV.I had a question that needed to be clarified, and I must say that if you ask the question on their website instead of sending them an email directly, not only was there a quick response, but they got back to me again for further clarification. I can now watch my political news stations off of my TV. You just can't believe how elated I am. Thank you for your excellent programming. Kudos to your customer support team; they deserve a pay raise! ~ 😊 😊 😊
I paid for a one year subscription and within 3-4 weeks started having A LOT of trouble streaming their channels. Sound would get garbled, many different error codes would pop up when the video stopped playing, sometimes the server was "unavailable", and on and on it went. I contacted support many times and it seemed like they were aware of the problems. At one point they promised me it would be fixed "permanently" by the next day. It was not, and the problems continued. I ended up subscribing to something else and asked for a prorated refund for the 10 months that were left on my subscription. Surprise, I never heard from them again.
It was a rough start, and some frustration, however, all has been resolved with more engineering improvements down the road. Tech support was extremely helpful, so with a very fair pricing structure and great service, this will be a great streaming network.
A few weeks back I had to reinstall my Windows 11. When I enter NewsPro now I get about 45-60 minutes of listening and then It stops working. I then have to reenter NewPro. I am using the same login and password ,but EVERY TIME I do this I get an email which states "EROP New login detected", Nothing I have done has changed from the original. My W11 has not changed so unless someone can address this problem shortly, I will be forced to get my news elsewhere.
This is the only affordable streaming news service I have found.Does it have issues yes, however they do not happen that often. I purchased this primarily to watch the financial news services. You have access to 3 on the platform. The subscription to one of them ($15.00 a month) is 3 time the yearly rate ($5.00 a month) for Watch News. When I first started using Watch news I could only stream them through my laptop. They now have a Roku app which I use daily . Have I seen technical issues yes but having a background in communications I understand what is happening and its not happening that often. While technical support does not always respond to my emails, I have seen problems corrected shortly after I send a simple email asking them to check a problem with a feed. You have to understand its not always their problem. The problem could be my equipment, my ISP, their ISP or them, I think the service is working to improve and it has improved so much along with adding their Roku app I have an annual subscription. After cutting the cord a few years ago this is my news source in this streaming world we live in. With a $5 monthly rate its the least expensive service I subscribe to and the most watched. Is it perfect, no, but show me a better service at twice the price.
I tried the 7 day trial and loved it so much that I paid for the $60 dollar yearly subscription. That is only $5 bucks a month! I was paying $46 a month elsewhere just to watch my favorite news channels and it just got too much in today's economy. Not only is WatchNews Pro a great price but they have excellent support and customer service via email which is so rare to find these days. I love how I can use this service with my ROKU that is connected to my 55 inch Samsung TV. I highly recommend this service. Worth every cent!
7 day free trial: it's evident they don't get their feeds from approved sources - CNN, for instance, is VERY painful to watch: frame rate issues and high compression (low quality). Just look (or try and avoid) their lower third news ticker. It hurts your eyes - jerky, stutters, impossible to follow without extreme eye strain. Dumped the trial after 1 day. Support is no help - because they can't fix it.
