Do not use!!!!! Website charged twice for the subscription?! (already bad enough). Then refused to release the track submitted, advising that it did not fit their vision and we were not allowed to submit any future releases with them. Upon requesting a refund they simply said "Subscription doesn't include distribution".

Disgusting behaviour from any company, they refuse your track and ban you from submitting anymore, meanwhile refusing to refund the subscription for all the tools you can only use if they let you release something!!!

Cringe-worthy company. Avoid at all costs. Happy to scam money out of people who are just trying to release music.

Highly recommend steering clear of this company

As a new independent label starting out, Label Engine seemed like a good fit. We were asked to give a one year goal and a five year goal as part of the vision for our label. This was all accepted.Once we tried uploading the first official single for an artist under our label, it was denied. Reasons given was "quality of music/does not match our vision"It would most definitely not be a case of lack of quality in terms of the music, as I have recorded and released songs and albums for years, and the "vision" was already given and accepted some time before we even tried releasing anything.Ultimately, they haven't given any way to resolve the issue, haven't been helpful in any way shape or form, and it seems that they have not only rejected just one upload for release, but any further releases too.Completely unacceptable, especially after they are taking money from us as a small label, based upon the original agreement that our "visions" matched in the first place.Highly recommend steering clear of this company. It appears to be run by greedy suits who do not care about labels, smaller artists and independent music as a whole. Blacklisting releases like this is why small, independent music is dying and has been for years!

Would not choose label engine for distribution

After releasing four projects under our label, our account was suddenly blocked without prior notice. We attempted to contact the company multiple times using two different email addresses but received no response.Eventually, we were able to speak with Whostry, one of their partners. We were informed that our account had been blocked because they believed we had reached out to another distributor. They stated that if this was not the case, we should notify them so the account could be reactivated. We clearly communicated that we had not proceeded with any other distributor; however, we have still not received any follow-up or resolution. This situation has been highly unprofessional and disruptive, as several artists’ releases are now pending and blocked. The lack of communication and delayed support has had a direct negative impact on our operations and the artists we represent.

They suck

They suck. Stay Away-! La based snobbie suits who emphasize “ vision” over music. In other words, how much do you plan to make for them. Waste of time

This company is completely fraudulent…

This company is completely fraudulent and is abusing YouTube’s Content ID system to steal people’s work. Yesterday, my channel received a copyright claim for a song that has nothing to do with my content. When I investigated the song, I saw that it was registered under “Label Engine.” They are sending false Content ID claims to creators and making illegitimate profit. It’s unclear whether the artists associated with them are even aware of this.

Extremely Disappointed

I am deeply disappointed with Label Engine's handling of my earnings, particularly for 20 million views on Mixed Online Platforms (GOP/GOP VR) in 2023. These views, primarily through Google Ireland Limited (which is mostly YouTube), have not translated into fair compensation, and the lack of transparency is alarming. To clarify, this is not about Spotify or any streaming platform—my music has charted legitimately in Germany's Top 100 on Apple Music and even in Switzerland, so there’s no question of bots or artificial inflation. The issue lies solely with how Label Engine has managed and reported earnings from YouTube views under Google Ireland Limited.I am currently auditing multiple platforms legally, and the numbers simply do not add up. The discrepancy between the reported views and the actual payouts is staggering. This lack of accountability is unacceptable and undermines the trust artists place in their distribution partners.

Just another headache

Another scam distributor. While initial experience was good, it's ended like other distributors, with all music coming down. Why this time? Because the label wasn't to their 'standards' despite having millions of streams, plays, views etc every month. Distributors forget their place, to distribute and report, you're not curators or judgement to artists music, do what you're only paid to do.Even with my labels monthly count, royalties were the lowest we've ever had, by a significant amount, a huge drop. I suspect something else is at play here.At this point distribution is a scam industry, none of them can be trusted. Label Engine joins the low ranks of Symphonic and Distrokid. Disgusting.

Great platform, but customer support needs improvement

Label Engine offers a solid platform for music distribution and royalty collection, which has been a great resource for my label. Their tools and features are comprehensive, and they have made managing my releases much easier. However, my experience with their customer support has been less positive. While the platform itself works well, responses from the support team are often delayed, and at times, I haven't received any response at all. This can be frustrating, especially when urgent issues arise.Overall, it's a reliable service, but I hope they improve their support to better assist their users.
