A professional service with all staff interacting with me at a very high standard. Admitted for surgery at 7.30 am and in theatre less than an hour later having seen the nurse,anaesthetist and surgeon in that time. Left the hospital at 2.30 pm so very little hanging around which was good as the surgical rooms are windowless and a bit bleak. Felt very safe and an overall comfortable experience.
From the moment I walked in the door I was made to feel welcome and at ease, a lovely young man escorted me to the lift to the upper floor, I checked in, was helped to use the coffee machine, then called to see my consultant who was 5 star, honest and truthful and so caring 🥰
I made an initial consultation with Mr Kazem Nassar booking on line which was very easy. I found Kazem to be very friendly and approachable. At the consultation it was confirmed that I most likely had a basal cell carcinoma on my chest. The treatment options were fully explained to me and I made an appointment to have it removed a week later. It was removed yesterday and I found it to be a totally painless experience. Kazem ensured the area was totally numb before proceedinding and I was totally at ease throughout.The staff are all extremely welcoming and friendly and the facitities are very modern and spotless.I have had no pain since.I would recommend the Waterfront to anyone without hesitation and I drove down from Aberdeen to have the surgery.
