The entire experience was great from start to finish. They are kind understanding and if it weren’t

The entire experience was great from start to finish. They are kind understanding and if it weren’t for financial reasons my son would still be in the program it made a real positive impact on my child. I have recommended time and time again even suggested them to the local psych clinic in my town!!!!

Disappointing Experience for My Child

My child's experience was extremely disappointing. We participated in the free trial session, and my son felt very down afterwards. The focus was largely on negative aspects, with the kids sharing their insecurities and fears in front of peers they had just met. This approach doesn't seem healthy, and my son ended up feeling quite terrible about himself. They had an activity where the kids wrote down their self-doubts on paper, crumpled it up, and threw it across the room. While this might work for some, my son, who is more of a logical thinker, felt it was meaningless; he was merely throwing paper, not addressing any negative feelings. It would have been beneficial for them to understand his emotional processing style before selecting activities. Throughout the session, my son barely spoke. We previously tried another program for better social interaction, but left this trial with more issues rather than solutions. Had I known what to expect, I would have opted out.

Negative impact on self-esteem and social skills

My child's experience was truly disappointing. After the free trial session, my son felt downcast. The focus was primarily on negative aspects, encouraging kids to share their fears in front of unfamiliar peers, which felt unhealthy. An activity involved writing doubts on paper and throwing it away, which didn't resonate with my son, who is more logical. He felt he was just tossing paper rather than addressing feelings. We sought this program for better social interaction but left with new concerns instead of solutions.

A wonderful addition to our family life

This program has been a wonderful addition to our home life. My son is passionate about sports but struggles when faced with setbacks, especially after games. Since joining, he has been managing tough moments much better. We really appreciate his coach, and my son eagerly looks forward to his weekly group sessions. It has been a perfect fit for him, and the group gatherings have added a fun element!

A breakthrough for my 12-year-old

I typically don't write reviews, but I had to for this as the change in my 12-year-old son has been remarkable. Like many boys his age, he was shutting down and struggling with school-related anxiety. As a father, I wanted to help, but my advice often fell on deaf ears. From his first session, he connected with the program. The concept of 'Automatic Negative Thoughts' has been a game-changer for him, providing a tool he actively uses.

At last, something our 10-year-old wants to engage with

Our 10-year-old has ADHD and dyslexia, leading to many intense emotions over minor issues and anxiety about schoolwork. This program has assisted our family in implementing strategies to understand these big feelings, and we are working towards calming down before situations escalate. We have tried various therapies, and he has never participated willingly before. Now, he genuinely looks forward to his sessions.

Great idea, but recaps are misleading

I believe this is a solid concept. We've completed two sessions and will continue for at least a month since we paid for it. My daughter enjoys the idea of earning prizes, and the lessons seem valuable. However, the weekly recaps don't align with our experience in the sessions. For instance, the recent recap mentioned a game about commonalities that never occurred. Instead, the coach simply asked about their week, which took up half the session. Additionally, an assignment given the week prior wasn't addressed at all. I hope future sessions have more accurate summaries.

We absolutely adore this program

We absolutely adore this program! We've been participating for nearly two years. My son loves sharing his experiences, and the coaches are incredibly compassionate and patient. I appreciate the diverse techniques and topics discussed. The addition of group gatherings has been fantastic for the kids to connect and learn together. For the investment, this is one of the best resources I've found to support my child's growth.

My son looks forward to his sessions!

My son eagerly anticipates his sessions every week. It's comforting for him to realize that other kids face similar emotions and challenges. He no longer feels isolated and has regained his enthusiasm. We truly appreciate this program!
