I was delighted with the service received. Having been referred via the RAC, at around 7.15pm, I got through quite quickly to a very friendly and helpful operator. Having opted for an engineer visit the following morning, the friendly engineer contacted me in good time for me to meet on site, arrived on time and solved the problem quickly and efficiently. Furthermore I was delighted to discover I could purchase a new spare key on the spot.
After losing both car keys, we contacted this company on Saturday and paid £474 upfront to secure an emergency call-out for Tuesday morning. That booking date was the entire basis of the agreement.At 4pm on Monday, we were told the required part was “out of stock” and the earliest they could now attend was Thursday afternoon. No apology. No explanation. No accountability. Just a casual change to what we had already paid for.We live in a rural area and were left completely stuck at home with a 19-month-old child, with no vehicle and no practical options — a situation they showed absolutely no concern for.When we cancelled and tried to get our money back, the experience got even worse:• Endless time on hold• Passed between multiple agents• Promised callbacks that never happened• After waiting over 30 minutes, we were told someone would call us back the same day — they didn’t• We called back ourselves and eventually got through after 5pm, only to be told the customer service team had gone home despite the earlier person saying the customer service team were in until 8pmThis felt deliberately obstructive and designed to make giving up easier than getting a refund.We immediately found a local provider who could do the job faster, cheaper and professionally — which shows this delay was not unavoidable, just incompetently managed.If you value your time, your money, or basic human decency, do not use this company.Poor service, poor communication, no accountability, and zero customer care.
I foolishly locked my key in the boot of my car, I panicked and contacted We've got the key, the call was 20 mins long and at the end of the call I gave my pay details, I tried the boot one last time and it popped open, literally 5 mi s after giving my pay details, I called and said I'd like to cancel, the locksmith had not been sent yet, but the still charged me £142 which i find disgusting. I'd understand a form of cancellation fee, and I wasn't told it'd be that amount on the first call I made.
Phone RAC put me straight through to WGTKSpeed Dial explained what happened bearing in mind my van is running on my drive can’t get access to turn off engine Operator there end your first port of call this is at 7.45amGave me the cost £120.00 with vat money taken Had a call of the locksmith at 8.56am to say he had been in a meeting with his line manager for an hour, and on his way don’t worry about your customer with his van running Waiting for your assistance, the operator that took the money never told me this at the start of the conversation very poor communication between themselves operator &locksmith so I phoned WGTK back at 9.17am He said the locksmith will be with you at 10.33am So I waited 10.45am the locksmith’s rolls up My van had been running for 3 hrs from 7.45am to 10.45am absolutely shocking customer service very Quick to take the money, accidents do happen I kw but never expected this so stressful Avoid at all cost
Excellent service. We managed to break our car key and they came out the same day at no extra cost to replace it. I was a bit worried at first regarding paying before the work was completed but I shouldn’t have been. Honest service and really friendly staff.
