Overall a good experience, but one aspect was disappointing

I will give 4 stars for Friday, Jan. 16, 2026 because everyone was fantastic, except for one individual, a woman who was a friend of another participant. As a woman myself, I felt it was unfortunate that her behavior reflected poorly on our gender. It would have been helpful if someone had guided her on how to participate properly, such as pushing the button and announcing a letter when it was her turn. I don’t mean to be disrespectful, but she seemed quite disconnected from the game, which was quite embarrassing.

Contestant Instruction Improvement

It would be useful to let contestants know they only need to call out the vowel they want to buy, rather than using phrases like 'may I' or 'can I buy a vowel.' This could save time and alleviate frustration, allowing for an extra game to be included.

Longtime Viewers' Concerns

As long-time viewers of the show, we feel the contests are unfair. Most winners seem to have at least 9 digits, while those with 7 digits, including two initials, are left out. The algorithm appears flawed, especially for those who have been loyal viewers since the beginning.

Appreciation for the Host

We enjoy Ryan Seacrest as the host. He engages better with contestants and is much more pleasant than the previous host. It's more enjoyable to watch, and Vanna White seems happier and even gets to speak more.

Too Much Focus on Contestants

There is excessive time spent getting to know the contestants. Ryan often asks trivial questions, prompting them to ramble on. This results in only one puzzle after the initial pop-ups, leading to a final spin puzzle due to the time wasted at the start.

Excessive Clapping Concerns

The show features WAY TOO MUCH CLAPPING! While the audience can clap, contestants often clap directly into their microphones, drowning out Ryan's voice. It can be so loud that it's hard to hear anything else. It would be great to curb this unnecessary behavior.

Disappointment with Recent Changes

After watching this show for many years, I find that with the new host, it has lost its charm. It now feels more like a different show altogether. Vanna has also changed, and I will no longer be tuning in.

Pia deserves another chance. Ryan interrupted her guess, leaving her with barely a second to respond. She started to answer but was beeped due to the time constraint.
