Fantastic road trip with a reliable camper

We enjoyed a wonderful journey with the camper, traveling from Melbourne to Noosa. It was easy to drive, comfortable, and well-equipped for a short trip. The pickup and drop-off process was seamless, and everything functioned as anticipated. Overall, a fun camper that offered great value.

No Bond Returned After Over a Month

No bond returned after over a month. The van itself was nice and had no mechanical issues, but the camping kit and mattress were disappointing—very cheap and uncomfortably hard. I returned the van but still haven't received my bond back, and we're past the 30 days they mentioned to wait.

Avoid Renting from This Service

I have rented similar vehicles globally, but this was my worst experience. The vehicle was in terrible condition and very dirty. The entire process was managed by a third-party depot unfamiliar with off-road campers. There was no explanation of the vehicle's features, and when we complained, they canceled our contract, leaving us stranded in a remote area.

Enjoyed Our Van Experience

We really enjoyed our van, choosing the mystery machine for our trip from Brisbane to Airlie Beach—an amazing journey! However, we were disappointed that a fridge, which was advertised on the website, was not available despite opting for it. The service was responsive, and renting a vehicle through them is an option.

Decent Experience, Needs Improvement

The experience was decent, but there's significant room for improvement. The fuel efficiency was poor, and the van showed some strange noises towards the end of our trip. The cooking gas canisters were not full upon pickup. The mattress was just three sections of thin foam. It met most of our needs but wasn't the most comfortable experience. The staff member who assisted us was very friendly.

Great Car and Staff, Flawed Booking Process

The car and staff at the location were excellent. However, the booking process and the 'What is your budget?' feature were ineffective, leading to a 3-star rating. I had to book last minute and experienced issues with the budget option, which went unanswered for two days. Ultimately, I had to book online at a higher price. Simplifying this process would enhance the experience.

Charming Yet Needs Improvements

I appreciated the warm blanket and pillows, but a thicker mattress topper would have made it better. The cutlery and cooking supplies were good, but a cover for the back window would have been nice. The roof window above the steering wheel didn’t close, causing wind and noise. The employee was helpful, but unfortunately, he wasn’t present during the return.

Disappointing Campervan Experience

Our experience with this campervan was disappointing and raised numerous safety concerns. The heater didn’t work, cigarette ports were dead, and both the hand brake and park gear were problematic. The wind guards were taped on, and the passenger door malfunctioned. We faced a battery failure and couldn’t get timely assistance, leaving us feeling abandoned. I hope this prompts improvements in vehicle maintenance and support.
