The good - I ordered and received a starter motor. This is a legitimate business. (The only reason I purchased from USAutopartsCar LLC was because the total price, including the core deposit refund, was less than my auto shop quote.)The bad - Terrible communication. It's been 23 days since the starter motor return package was received at the Hempstead, NY address I was given. (Getting a return address was very difficult and only received after I had already purchased postage to USAutopartsCar LLC corporate office - the only address on the website.)I provided advance notice of the return shipment, provided tracking info, and made 6 attempts via email and 5 attempts via phone to confirm delivery and check status of my core deposit refund (providing tracking info, a photo of the returned part in the box with the original packing slip, and email thread) and I still have not received acknowledgement of receipt or the $68 core deposit refund. No one answers or returns calls from the 979-557-0203 contact phone number on the website even when a voicemail is left referencing the order number, customer name, issue, and customer phone number.Note: USAutopartsCar website says, "If more than 10 business days have passed and you have not received the refund, please contact both your bank and us at support(at)usautopartscar(dot)com with your order details".
I purchased an alternator for my BMW- great price and prompt shipping. Sadly I had to return it since the issue wasn’t actually the alternator, however the return process was straightforward and seamless. Great company and I would absolutely use them again!
Diagnosis just revealed that the item is defective. I purchased this item to remedy the check engine light in my vehicle, ever since the item came and was installed, the check engine light persisted, so I went to various diagnostic center just to discover that the item i purchased to remedy the problem in the vehicle is defective. So, I have to return the product as soon as I get your response.
