I had the incredible opportunity to work with Ndiko, the founder of Winda.guide, to plan a 10-day group trip to Kenya for my 30th birthday for about 30 people. From the very beginning, Ndiko's communication was top-notch, and she was genuinely invested in creating a memorable experience for me and my guests. Even though it was a large group, she still made the trip feel personal for everyone and it's highly commendable.Ndiko's knowledge of Kenya and East Africa is extensive, and she is passionate about sharing her love for her country with us. She meticulously planned every detail of our trip, ensuring that we had seamless transitions and an enjoyable experience from the minute we stepped off the airplane and through our travels to Nairobi, Maasai Mara and Diani Beach.Ndiko's attention to detail and her ability to incorporate authentic Kenyan cultural experiences were truly remarkable. She went above and beyond to connect us to other women-owned businesses for my gift bags which made our trip not only fun but also meaningful. She personally takes the time to inspect and ensure that all of her partners and recommended properties are up to high standards - the quality was outstanding during our entire trip.Thanks to Ndiko's connections, we felt like VIPs the whole time. My guests had the opportunity to make custom clothes with African prints and she arranged hidden gems for us to experience Kenya in a way that most travelers would never have the opportunity to do. She really outdid herself and you could just tell how much she cares - it touched me deeply.Ndiko as a person is exceptional - her spirit is infectious, she is fun, energetic, calm and so well prepared for literally everything. She made us feel like family and ensured that we had the time of our lives. My trip to Kenya with Ndiko's help was life-changing. She helped me create my dream trip that exceeded all of my expectations. I am deeply grateful for her friendship and her dedication to providing bespoke travel experiences. Ndiko was great! Highly recommend her when looking to book a holiday in Kenya. There are so many options that it can become overwhelming but having a trusted, local guide makes it so much easier. We had an amazing safari at an incredible eco camp as recommended by Ndiko. She also goes above and beyond (even helping me source some medication I needed).
I was fortune enough to have Ndiko plan and coordinate a 10 day trip to Kenya for my group of 20+ people. We stayed in Nairobi, visited the Maasai Mara for Safari, and traveled to Diani Beach. Every detail of this trip and our transportation between cities was paid attention to. Every question we had was answered quickly and thoroughly and with a friendly demeanor. This was the first time I showed up for a longer trip and just went with the flow; and it was so enjoyable because of the care and effort Ndiko put into the itinerary and the planning of every activity. I plan to recommend Winda to every person I know traveling to Kenya.
On a scale of 1 to 5, I would rate Winda Guide a 6. Our agent, Ndiko was extremely knowledgeable about all the areas we visited: Nairobi, Mara, and Diani. Perfectly curated trip from the hotels to the guides to the activities and experiences. She also had great recommendations for seamstress, hair braiders and salons. Our group was almost 30 people and not a single issue even with the unpredictability of travel.We had an amazing vacation and I love Kenya even more than I already did. I highly recommend Winda Guide and Ndiko.
Ndiko was far beyond just a great travel agent. She helped to curate an experience that went beyond our wildest dreams. When booking a trip for your honeymoon in Africa there is so much to choose from and it’s easy to feel overwhelmed by the options. I really wanted a travel agent who could just understand what we were going for and be definitive and choose for us what were the best options and Ndiko did just that. Ndiko was able to take all of the things we liked/disliked/cared about and put it all together into the greatest trip we’ve ever been on. (We wanted a boutique luxury experience and wanted to explore/ safari in both Kenya and Tanzania, and finish off with the beach in Seychelles). Each place we stayed at was the perfect place for what we wanted to do and the service and commitment of the hosts was unbelievable. It really showed Ndiko’s knowledge of the places to stay that will turn your trip from a great trip into a life changing experience. She was there for us every step of the way and was always there to answer our questions. While on the trip she made sure that we were well taken care of and jumped into action if we ever needed anything. Whether we were in a New York or in Africa, she was always just a phone call away!
Winda Guide is the best! Ndiko is your go to person if you are planning a trip to Kenya and East Africa.Winda planned a 4-day trip for a group of 8 people. We did 3 days of Safari in Maasai Mara then 1 day in Naivasha.It was AMAZING, MAGICAL! We now understand why people say magical Kenya.We enjoyed everything including the hotel selection, safari experience, food and activities.During the game drives, our guides, Robert and Eric, went above and beyond to have us see all the animals. We got the big 5, the cheetah hunting, a lion family of 12, lion cubs eating a buffalo, and all the others amazing things nature has to offer.They did not hesitate to point out animals to see, giving us all the information about the area and animals and making sure we had as much time as we wanted to take beautiful pictures. They made our safari unforgettable and we can't wait to do the next ones (Amboseli, Tsavo, etc).Ndiko planned the whole trip, booked all the activities, and sent us booking conformations ahead of time. She made suggestions and coordinated with all parties throughout the trip to make sure we had the best experience possible.The communication with Winda Guide was fluid and clear before, during, and after the trip. We really got more than value for our money. We have so many special memories and we go back feeling happy and in love with Kenya.Kuddos and Thank you Ndiko and team! Had a wonderful tour of the National Park in Nairobi thanks to Winda Guida! They coordinated all parts - driver, car, park fees - and we had a spectacular visit. The communication was clear and timely, and we really appreciated all the help!
