Supervisor Amanda from Sunnynook is such an unprofessional and frankly silly person. I went to her today to say that there is no bags at the bakery and her response was "I dont know". I then explain that there are always bags and a tongue at the cakes and pizza slices at the bottom and she said that I can use a brown veggie bag for it upon which I responded that a pizza will not go in there, neither will the other cakes and breads that other people may want to buy. Again she said "I dont know" and then turning her back on me. I asked her why she gave me such stupid answers and that I would like to speak to the supervisor upon which she informed me that she is the supervisor! What? Luckally someone else came to my assistance however, as there were flies trapped in the food compartment of which I took photos of and surely will post online, my wife said that she no longer want the pizza for our toddler.

The customer service by some employees is pathetic. They seem to be racist toward brown skinned people. It shows on their faces that they are pretty racist. We are all human beings so treat everyone equally.

Do you guys even hire people from online? all I see is the same ai generated message saying my app was rejected and not giving me any information on why it was rejected which I cannot understand.


I'm perfect for the role I live only 5 minutes away from the store and I have friends and know others that work at same stores.



Since you can't give me any information on to why this keeps happening I'm gonna assume it's because I'm an American or because I'm not covid vaccinated I mean thats why you kicked me out of the training group back in 2022.

Not customer friendly as far as old people who don't understand technology are concerned. I dumped my shopping when I found only the machines open. Those things cause me palpitations, thus i refuse to use them. This was The Palms store before 9pm on a Friday night. As a result I won't be back even though it's my local and I can't drive, never again

Woolworths Motueka has some issues...

At Woolworths Motueka, following the supposed restructuring, it’s surprising to find no meat available at 9:30 this morning. I enjoy shopping there, but it's frustrating that items like chicken breasts on special are missing from the shelves. Sometimes, restructuring can negatively impact customers.

New store opening reveals major flaws.

The recent opening of the new store highlights ongoing issues. Six online orders were charged at the original prices instead of just for the delivered items, as they claim. The customer service phone line just plays music, and email contact is unhelpful. They still owe us money, and I’ve decided to switch to another supermarket.

Woolworths Gisborne is severely lacking.

Woolworths Gisborne has been poorly stocked for months. It's a missed opportunity, especially with nearby competition refurbishing and the holiday season approaching. Management really needs to reassess their strategies.

Exceptional service from the staff.

A huge thank you to the staff for their kindness. They are all incredibly helpful. One staff member noticed I didn’t have a trolley and offered one with a smile. Another assisted me with a product I was unsure about, being patient and clear. I truly appreciate having such outstanding employees.

Ran out of turkey before the holidays.

It's surprising that this supermarket ran out of turkey two weeks before Christmas while other stores had plenty. There are also many products, like fresh whole duck, available at competitors. Overall, the management seems to be lacking compared to others.
