Disappointing experience with a costly washing machine

I purchased a 12kg top load washing machine, and despite its high price, the performance has been very disappointing. After just six months, it began leaving brown stains on my clothes. I reached out to customer support, went through various troubleshooting steps, and a technician was sent to run a cycle with a heavy-duty cleaner, but the stain issue remained unresolved. When I contacted the company again, they informed me that another technician visit would be necessary, and I would have to pay $450 for a disassembly and pressure wash, even though I haven't used it much. I always use the right detergent, perform machine maintenance every three months, and don't operate it frequently. I've experienced better results with less expensive brands over the years. I initially bought this machine for my white winter quilts, but it has been a considerable letdown. Definitely not worth the investment. A waste of my hard-earned money.

This top-loading washing machine with a 10 kg capacity fails to agitate correctly, leaving detergent residue and stains, while also generating excessive lint despite regular maintenance. The AI mode does not function as promised, and I was informed that a 10 kg machine can only handle 4 kg in AI mode. What’s more troubling is that the company/the retailer refuses to share the technician’s report. Customers should have access to the service report for faulty products to understand the underlying issues. This lack of transparency is unusual and unacceptable.

Excellent Experience with LG

My experience with the company in Australia has been very positive. In recent years, I've purchased many of their products, including a 77-inch OLED model. It developed a couple of small black marks on the left side of the screen. Although these marks were not very intrusive, they arranged for a screen replacement under warranty. The whole process was completed within a week, right at my home.

A Complete Nightmare to Handle

This has been a total nightmare to deal with. My washing machine broke down after 2 years and 9 months, marking the second breakdown. I've made 16 calls to the helpline, but the notes contradict each other with advice and information. This is the worst customer service I've encountered in years. I'm trying to get the company to offer a 'remedy' so I don't have to pay $700 for repairs.

A True Nightmare

I've owned many products from this company and was satisfied until recently. My new TV, still under warranty, faced issues after a recent software update that removed the ability to record while the TV is off. This key feature is now lost. Complaining to the company led to a frustrating experience with their chat support, which felt designed to deter customers. After numerous calls, I received conflicting information about the issue. Finally, weeks later, they admitted the change was intentional due to some rights issue. The whole ordeal has left me extremely frustrated and dissatisfied.

Disappointing Oven Experience

I purchased an oven from a retailer five weeks ago and quickly noticed the light wasn't functioning. I reported it to both the company and the retailer, but after over five weeks, I still have no updates on its repair or replacement. Additionally, after just one cycle of the self-cleaning feature, the oven rails were damaged, and there is noticeable discoloration, making it look years old. This has been one of the worst purchases I've ever made, and neither the company nor the retailer has provided a resolution.

Warranty Issues

Avoid purchasing appliances from this company if you expect them to honor your warranty. I bought a fridge in March 2024, and by late July 2025, the freezer was malfunctioning. After several calls and emails, I discovered a hole in the seal, but the company claimed it was caused by a sharp object. They also refused to cover the repair service due to distance. Despite the retailer's attempts to assist, the lack of accountability from the company has been frustrating.
