No protection for people who want to just play game, scammers complain because you won’t share personal details and you get blocked! Don’t touch

I've been playing for years and it used…

I've been playing for years and it used to be fun. Now there are way too many flashing lights, bells and whistles and pop ups, not to mention the awful ads that sometimes are so long and take you to Play store. The solo challenge is SO one-sided in favour of the computer - their shortage word score is 35+ and the player (me) gets useless tiles. It's so generally frustrating these days and not the fun it should be

Ready to quit over ads

After years of playing words I’ve had it with the greedy ads. They used to last and you could go back to your game. Now, I have to turn my phone off to get back. I’ve been waiting 20 minutes this morning and am literally unable to go back to my game. It’s other games they want you to download. You hit done and another “get” screen comes up back and forth. I’m ready to quit. So disappointing

Friends, but only if you buy benefits.

The game essentially is fun. I don't mind the word search cheats, since strategy is most important. But since they allowed cash purchase advantages, you never know if you are playing against a person or a wallet. Very frustrating.

I used to enjoy this game

I used to enjoy this game, but it has evolved into a gimmicky and manipulated app. I only play now with just 2 family members because we grew up playing scrabble - I am done with rest of the junky features and playing “rigged” games with missing valid words in the dictionary, yet plenty of junk words that are either archaic or from another language. One star rating is too high.
