Review Time
Very bad experience. They moved my stuff from old house to new house which is only 5’ away and took them 8hrs. They broke my fridge, ripped my couch, broke my dinning plates as they just dropped them on the floor any not handle them properly. I got all the proof photos but they denied all responsibility and said my stuff already broken before they moved and the lot insurance doesn’t cover these damages.
Completely brilliant! I have used Ace Removals twice now. They are actually passionate about their job. They know how to pack to maximise space especially with storage containers which is important. They are also quick and really efficient. I would always use them now!!
Take your money then don’t do the move!Proceed with great caution.Booked them to move a large fragile 4 sided glass display cabinet & some light boxes only for them to turn up & refuse to move the cabinet as it had 4 glass panels in it, exactly as I’d explained when I booked & gave measurements.Said they could take the boxes though which was pointless as I could put them in my car so I turned them away as they couldn’t & wouldn’t do the job booked. Still waiting for my refund. Not good enough.
If I could leave no stars I would Worse experience ever with ace movers never have I seen 2 men work so slow and stand around just waiting for us to move our own furniture, once they finally half loaded the truck ( a child can manage space better than these 2 dim wits,) house still was half full they kept saying they thought it would be quicker job and really didn’t want to be there, they broke my disabled sons computer monitor who later after gettting out of hospital tried to turn it on to see a big crack in it, they offered no compensation and said as it was over 24 hours they couldn’t do anything, lucky for me I know a lot of people and will be passing on the message how bad this company is, a time before I used easy peasy removals they were much better
Appalling. late, abusive. rude. I'm trying to reclaim my money through my bank's disputed transaction.These clowns arrived 2.5 hrs late. No communication from them about their tardy then late arrival. I disagreed with them saying they'd stuffed up the relocation because we had a time schedule to meet. They then departed having done nothing. I had to reorganise the shift with another, decent single man operator
**Review for Ace Movers: A Nightmare Experience**If I could give Ace Movers zero stars, I absolutely would. My experience with this company was nothing short of horrific and left me feeling threatened and vulnerable.The night before my scheduled move, at 5 PM, I received a call trying to push my booking back to the following day. They claimed their big truck wasn’t available and insisted they would send a smaller one, promising to make as many trips as needed at no extra cost. This should have been my first red flag.On moving day, the two guys arrived a shocking 50 minutes late. When they finally started moving my belongings, their pace was painfully slow. It took them until 2 PM to deliver the first load to my new house—five hours after they began! To make matters worse, they demanded payment of $975 before heading back for the second load.When they returned later, they only brought part of my belongings and then had the audacity to demand another $770. I refused to pay for this outrageous increase, especially since they had sent the wrong truck and taken twice as long to complete the job. Their response? “If you’re not going to pay, you don’t get your stuff.”I spent 45 minutes arguing with them, feeling increasingly threatened as they refused to return my belongings. In desperation, I called the police. It wasn’t until 9 PM—three hours later—that I finally paid them just to get my things back.To add insult to injury, they left a heap of my belongings at the old house, leaving it wide open when they left. I was forced to hire a truck the following day to retrieve my left over items from my old properly. Several of my belongings were missing, and many were damaged. They even left a big hole in my bedroom wall, which they denied causing, despite the fresh plaster on the floor. When I tried to address these issues with Nick, who is supposed to be the boss, he was incredibly rude and dismissive, telling me “if you don’t pay more money, you don’t get the rest of your stuff” when I expressed my concerns. There was also premeditated actions given all the stuff they left on the truck before demanding more money, was of a substantial financial cost.The unprofessionalism I encountered was astounding, especially considering I was alone as a female during this ordeal. They dumped my belongings haphazardly under my garage door and left me to call someone for help at 9 PM to move my things inside.Since sharing my experience, I've heard multiple similar horror stories about Ace Movers. This company is absolutely disgusting, and I would NEVER recommend them to anyone. Save yourself the trouble and find a reputable moving company instead.
Fantastic team. The 3 guys that came round done everything. Moves us from Weston-super-Mare to Wales with ease. 4 flights of stairs they had to go up and down. Everything was delivered to the correct rooms. Very happy and friendly nothing was to much trouble.
