Review Time
Having experienced reliability problems with both of the battery operated car keys for my Passat, I went to Car Keys Torbay workshop to meet the engineer. He was highly professional, polite and helpful. Both of my key faults were solved without delay and very efficiently, without the need to purchase expensive replacements. I recommend this company strongly and suggest that they should be your first call for any car security solutions.
I previously visited Timpson as recommended by the AA Keysure to replace the bent blade on my car key and was advised they cant just refit a blade I would have to have a new key for £177.00. I went to this company whom cut and fitted and new blade for £15.00. Very friendly and helpful lads.Highly recommend
An annoying intermittent problem with my ignition and key getting stuck in the car Took my car in to Car Keys Torbay and we were very impressed with the service - the mechanic was very clear about what the issue could be and honest in his appraisal that as the car was behaving itself at the time he didn't want to take our money as he could not fully diagnose the issue when the lock appeared to be working perfectly well - but he said that he could strip the lock and see for the very reasonable cost of £60. The lock was sorted in an hour and the problem found and sorted. The lock specialist took his time to explain to us exactly what he found and what he did to cure the issue. What an excellent service provided by Gary. We had tried unsuccessfully to repair our worn out car key and failed. The key had lost its transposer so spoke to Gary and he came to our property promptly and diagnosed the new code and supplied two new keys. These guys are so professional, I have used them 3 times now, today really showed there excellent service, I bought a replacement key from them about 18 months ago and it developed a fault, I phoned a few weeks ago and they said call in when next passing, so I did. He the key had developed a fault, so they basically built a new key checked it and all works great, they didn't charge me anything extra! They said ' that shouldn't happen ' they didn't want anything for their time. 5 stars well deserved.
After refusing to be left waiting for a minimum of 2 hours on a cold January morning by Green Flag after I had worked a night shift I arranged a lift home with a friend. I later contacted Car Keys Torbay who came to my home to collect the key to my car, drove the 12.7 mile round trip to where my car was parked, got my car running within a very short time and charged me a very reasonable price. I was very impressed with the speed, service and cost of this business.
