I’ve really enjoyed using FAKKU. There’s a ton of high quality content and the site is easy to navigate. Definitely worth the subscription for the variety and consistency alone. On top of that, their customer service is excellent, responsive, and helpful. The level of integrity and care for creators is rare and makes me feel good about being a subscriber.
They've currently cancelled an order of mine and didn't specify as to why they can't deliver said item. They then offer store credit, however they haven't gotten back to me in four full days in regards to giving me a refund.I've also now discover the changes to their site, you can't even check your details. Even if I got store credit, I can't check anything.
Bought some books full of...plot.The quality is high, about the same as the manga books I own. They also have a very good selection with lots of different artists. The site clearly listen to what people like. The shipping takes some time, as products from USA usually do during international shipping. Customer service is very good and fast. Made me aware of mistakes made during billing.Very nice site for people of culture out there.
I ordered a t-shirt from Fakku on 12/26/2020 because my younger brother said that he liked a t-shirt that he saw on their website and thats what he wanted for his birthday which was going to be held on 01/09/2021. I waited until 12/26/2020 to place my order because the t-shirt was pretty expensive at $25 per t-shirt + $11 for USPS Priority Shipping for a single shirt so it came out to $36 for one t-shirt shipped. I wanted to wait and see if Fakku had some kind of Christmas sale where I could get free shipping or something (they didnt have any sale) so I placed my order on December 26, 2020 the day after Christmas. I waited a week and Fakku still had not shipped out my order so I emailed them saying my order was still not shipped out 5+ days after I placed the order and that I needed the item before January 9th for my brothers birthday. No response from Fakku until 01/05/2021 (4 days before my brothers birthday) when they emailed me back to say that the item would arrive on time, I checked the order status on their website and they updated my order with a message that said they would be closed from December 23rd until January 4th and orders will be shipped out starting on January 5th. I checked the tracking number that they gave me and it looks like they shipped out the item on 01/06/2021 and it arrived on the same day as my brothers birthday which was on 01/09/2021 (luckily). It was pretty irresponsible of Fakku to go on vacation from December 23rd all the way until January 4th and not leave any staff members at all behind to fulfill orders. The product that they sent me arrived brand new in a sealed plastic bag and they even sent me a free black disposable mask that says Fakku on it which was a nice unexpected free gift that they sent during Covid-19. I still think that their products are overpriced I mean who spends $25 on a t-shirt that has a company's logo on it (giving the company free advertising) and then spends $11 to ship a single t-shirt that was sent in an envelope and would costs $8 if it would have been sent inside of a USPS flat rate envelope (unless their buying it as a gift for someone else). The translated books that they sell are also pretty expensive at $20 each, I understand that theres a cost associated with paying the translators but I buy the same books directly from Japan instead of the English translated books that Fakku sells and the same books that Fakku sells for $20 translated are $8-$10 in Japanese if you import them from Japan.
I found it, looking for LEGAL hentai, in 2020, through PCmag recommendations and then was disgusted that the first image on the thread is an illegal dipiction of a male minor. Very bad for people to stumble upon this by accident. The U.K doesn't allow this, I'm sure other countries don't either, how is this fair or legitimate?! It is not by far.
Fakku is a great company with great intentions behind them. They used to illegally host anime and other adult (18+) anime, but have since began to support artists with their subscription. Their online store isn't quite as large as I hoped it would be, but I'd be lying if I said I haven't already spent over $200 on their merch. In addition to their store, (which sells anime, doujinshi, games, figures, posters, ect), they also have a subscription for their thousands of Doujin that you can read in HD. I've never had problems with their store or the shipping they provide at all, I've done over 5 orders with them so far.My only gripe is I wish they'd do more non-vanilla books, but I'm satisfied so far with the non-vanilla they've done. I understand it's not a great business venture to appeal to a minority taste like mine. Great company, I recommend!
Fakku has never done me wrong, not even at their booths in Conventions! All their product i have purchased on their site were well protected and preserved for my enjoyment :3 When i want a physical copy of a hentai i am hunting for, Fakku is my first place to go to. Shipping is fast and they keep you up to date on any pre-orders!
