We had a 90-minute Alpaca walk experience followed by one of the Afternoon Teas in the Chilli Bean and it was fantastic from the moment we got there to the moment we left. Our host, Molly, was incredibly friendly and knowledgable and made the experience that much better! We had the delight of walking Tota and Bells & Whistles who were amazing, sassy little animals, we’ll miss them so much!Definitely recommend going!
Booked an Alpaca walk as part of a birthday present for my girlfriend, I have to say looking at other competitors I was worried about the group sizes being too small or not worth the slightly pricey £35. Needless to say i was completely wrong, the walk was fantastic, the whole farm location and experience was much greater than I imagined. We got teamed up with our Alpaca friends and went for a really nice walk around the 110 acre farm they have there. We were walked around by guide Gemma, who was amazingly helpful and gave us some interesting facts on the Alpacas! Its a must do, and definitely worth the £35!!! please don't be put off by other reviews, its an incredible experience and a lovely way to spend an afternoon!
This was a gift for Christmas, and was a mis understand with some terms regarding pushchair policy the staff was rude and was told not to worry can re book but have to email and was given email address, I have received email back saying I can't re book due to them being a small business this is £35 for adults we had 2 adults attending and 2 children drive over 40 miles each way.
I was looking for something different for my 11 year old nephew and I to do. I came across Pukkalpacas. We booked a 90 minute experience walking alpacas through some Derbyshire fields. We arrived 30 minutes before as informed, signed in, purchased some food (£1 a bag) and went to see the alpacas whilst we awaited our leader. The experience started on time with about 12 people in our group. Every person 10 or over got their own alpaca to walk each with its own personality. Lots of opportunities for photos including selfies. It was a lovely 90 minute walk so take sensible shoes. My nephew is still talking about it a week later. Afterwards we had lunch at the cafe there and the food was delicious particularly the chicken and blue ciabatta with sweet potato chips! They also do walks with donkeys, sheep and more. Very well run, they look after their animals, and they’re not over worked. It’s very ethical for those who care about animal welfare.
