Radio fence for pets in UK

Radio fence for pets is very successful provided you have made a thorough assessment of your budget ( how much you are willing to spend ), your positive confident approach with training skill / ability to communicate and recognise your pet language, your pet’s personality, confidence and understanding your command indoor before even thinking of taking them outdoor, the safe and secured outdoor space and the support of neighbours ( an awareness of new radio fence and the possibility of pet escaping ) , positive feedback from radio fence owners and most importantly, an expert qualified electronic engineer with expert training for your pet.Preparation took me many months, l needed the kittens to be at least 3 kilo to have a strong neck to use the collar all day till sunset, use of different light collars to accustom them to new collars, training basic commands of appropriate and non appropriate behaviour and satisfied that both myself and the kittens understand and have the same communication. Had a garden fence installer to check the fence and had the fence posts reinforced ( if your fence is shaky and it collapses, it would another complicated matter to rewire the cable). Positive feedbacks from existing owners are important. l met a group at pedigree rescue owners but they were on tight budget and people will always give a negative feedback to validate their limited income. l was lucky my Siamese cat breeder had the invisible fence for years , added that her cats are very intelligent with high success training outcome. l contacted Andrew Sherwood from Radio Fence via Invisiblefence brand. He was very patient as l spent a lot of time with endless questions , firstly to check that l like him and that l feel comfortable to put my kittens under his supervision, secondly his knowledge and his assessment of my perimeter fence. Initially l has doubts so l hesitated ( even 1% of doubt, abandon the project) until l was confident that l could trust him and l went ahead and it is been a very successful outcome. He took the time to train the kittens in stages and the kittens love the freedom and the sheer enjoyment of their own space. In the initial 2 weeks after installation , l had to watch the kittens to reassure them should they go near the fence and hear the alarm. l let the neighbours know the kittens were in training in case they escape but there was just plain sailing.The most important is budget, good effective communication between you and your pets, sound compound and a brilliant installer. Andy is very passionate and he will ring regularly to check and he will not accept payment till weeks later only if you fully are satisfied. Don’t get into a negative mode as you will fail and invest in your homework and research with support from Peter Cheeseman, Invisible Fence and Andrew Sherwood, the installer. He travelled as far as Switzerland! Be careful, there are rogue installers who lack the skill to train pets. Be vigilant and get the right feedbacks and references. l am a pet owner with years of owning dogs and cats from Pedigree and rescue centres. Total cost £ 1094 for 2 micro lite collars, transformer and battery for 1 year and installation £771 for a very large front and back garden. You can get cheap heavy collars from Amazon. But l choose the lighter 30g collar and trustworthy Peter for future repair or battery sale.

TERRIBLE COMPANY

TERRIBLE COMPANY! INCOMPETENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Please do not do business with these people. They are located in Florida and they sell pet products. I purchased few products and found the products they sell are FAKE AND NOT LICENSED - my dog got sick! I ended up taking my dog to the emergency veterinarian hospital. We found from the blood test, my dog had consumed some metal (lead or mercury) poisoning. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!
