Review Time
A swan recently flew into our roof, tumbled down the roof and then fell about 7 or 8 metres to the ground. We were very impressed with the advice given by the SSPCA on the phone, the two visits we had from SSPCA personnel and the very skilful way the swan was put into a swan bag! The SSPCA officers were very friendly, professional and knowledgeable, the swan was fortunately just stunned but didn't have enough room to take off in the garden. Once in the swan bag the swan was taken away to be released in a safe , spacious environment. An excellent result!
My mum has looked after a little crow for years since it was a baby - it couldn't fly. But it had a home, food, water and love. It was a part of the family like any cat or dog. These crooks take animals away from loving owners just so they can kill ("euthanize") them. That's their idea of protecting animals. Just like the Nazis did with disabled people. Animals have no right to life according to the SPCA. RIP Loki Lou. Another victim of this cruel world. Do not support or engage with these monsters.
SSPCA Total waste of time. Officer for our area is unprofessional to say the least. It seems if there's a photo opportunity or money involved though, they're there like a shot but ask them to help with neglected animals then they couldn't care less. The outfit is a joke now, rotten from the top down, due to low staff morale causing staff shortages and it's the poor animals who are suffering. Take the Collie dogs by us who are caged all day, no food, water or human interaction (except when they swear at them) a breed that NEEDS regular exercise/stimulation but never been walked in their lives/played with/exercised/talked to, kept in a really unsuitable, small area, dirty, smelly, very overgrown with weeds poisonous to animals if ingested and who are at this moment standing saturated in torrential rain (for the last 2 hours) barking, shaking and pleading to get into the dry but their heartbreaking cries are being ignored, as usual, by the idiots who are blessed to have them and they think it's funny. Left walking around their own mess for 17 hours a day and then thrown into a manky locked kitchen for the other 7 hours, only for the same every single day. Call SSPCA, woman comes out... once.. We thought the dogs would get justice/rehomed because they really are badly mistreated but they see her van pull up the front, they drag dogs inside via a side door and then put on an act worthy of an Oscar, saying dogs are "walked" every day, "kept inside" etc.. Utter Lies!! .. and when she drives off, out to the cage they are thrown again. Call again and she couldn't care less as they did a complete number on her first time and she believed their dishonesty. Didn't even ask to see/ hear the evidence we had or even look at the filthy caged area where they spend their miserable lives (the first thing I myself would have investigated). Now mailing a complaint to the Ombudsman with LOTS of evidence ignored by SSPCA. Some of these individuals shouldn't be working with animals as they are obviously not true animal lovers, it's 'just a job' .. Many years ago, I used to admire these people but not anymore as we hear of /see animals suffering on their watch every day. SSPCA is no longer fit for its original purpose. We used to give a large amount of money monthly but will now NEVER contribute/listen to their campaigns again due to this officer and also hearing it's the same story over the whole of the country.. They try and tug at our heartstrings with their TV ads to get our money but these ads are not true to life at all in our County.. Condoning animal neglect and abuse (not only these poor dogs) after many complaints from several people, means our money will not be given to them.. ever and we will never recommend them. Don't work for an outfit that's supposed to be pro animal if you obviously don't genuinely care about them and try listening PROPERLY when the public (your eyes and ears) give you honest information that they are being badly mistreated!
Phone lines don't stop they said we don't have time to get through all.the calls they said. It s why we can't pick up wildlife they said. Well this one found the time just after 16:00 today 14th July 2025 to spend some of her £42,000 annual on her weekly. Saves her petrol using the company van doesn't it because at 16:00 ish this afternoon it wasn't a lunch stop and there were no donation food or collection tins in store. If i could leave a 0 starts i would.I call today for advice regarding a baby seagull who is clearly in pain and dragging its wing along the ground.to be told that unless i could capture it myself or the animal was not able to move they could do nothing to help as they didn't carry anything to capture it. The adviser was so unprofessional and actually should be ashamed of the advice given . This poor innocent animal will now be left to slowly suffer and die.
SSPCA are meant to help, people in need they only care for them selves not the welfare of the animals what so ever, they are corrupt, they don't help if need advice etc they just interested in taking animals of people that don't abuse them, but yet with others that severely beat their dogs to pulp they don't respond, take for instance a greyhound in Dingwall tied to Railings SSPCA never did anything, they seem not do a lot for wildlife or domestic animals. A lassie called Lacey-Mae McRoberts (Tanya Beatie Mitchell) with her cats way they are kept never vaccinated, litter trays disgusting, 2 male cats not neutered and a female cat not spayed, no wonder why the 2 male cats spray everywhere and the female cat shits down behind washing machine and sofa not use litter trays my dog came back from her in hell of a state and SSPCA ain't dealing with this lassie from Dingwall not on at all, now my dog needs go back vets for more treatment as her skin still flakey as hell as Lacey-Mae McRoberts (Tanya Beatie Mitchell) Fed her on wrong food Wagg is bad quality food. SSPCA u need get a grip on this that poor cats are suffering cause of you and her not treating them right animals need be vaccinated even if indoor cats, flea and worming treatment
Phoned the Aberdeen sspca! About an injured pigeon! Told me they couldn’t do anything take the bird to the vets and got past back and fourth no care in the world from them!!! Wouldn’t give this charity again! And by the way I tried for 4 days with this pigeon kept the bird warm and fed! Sadly it passed tonight probably due to infection from a bite. The bird could have been saved too! Joke of a place!!
What a bunch of cowards you are, we have reported NEIL MUNRO at 15B BURNTISLAND FOR ABUSE, DOGS BARKING AT ALL HOURS OF DAY OR NIGHT, HE WAS SEEN BY A GROUP OF PEOPLE WATCHED HIM BEAT THE DOG VERY BADLY, HE WAS JUMPING AND KICKING HER AND SHE WAS STUCK IN CORNER, FIFE COUNCIL DO NOTHING AND THE POLICE DO NOTHING WITHOUT EVIDENCE, FIFE COUNCIL ARE TOTALY TO BLAME FOR PUTTING A SCITZO IN A BLOCK OF OLD PEOPLE, THE POLICE HAVE BEEN INFORMED OF THE BEATING ON THE DOGS AND THEY SAY ITS YOUR DEPARTMENT, THIS GUY IS REALY CRAZY N VIOLENT AND HE IS GOING TO KILL ONE OF THOSE DOGS ONE OF THESE DAYS. HE ALSO LETS THEM ATTACK OTHER DOGS AND DOES NOTHING, THEY DONT EVEN HAVE LEADS, KNOW YOUVE BEEN TO SEE HIM BUT CAUSE HE HAD DOG FOOD IN HOUSE YOUS LEFT THEY POOR DOGS, YOU SHOULD BAN HIM AND TAKE DOGS OF HIM, I KNOW OTHER PEOPLE HAVE BEEN IN TOUCH ABOUT THIS GUY BUT IF YOU DONT DO SOMETHING HE WILL KILL 1 OF THE DOGS OR THEY WILL ATTACK ANOTHER DOG OR CAT. IT IS YOUR JOB TO RESCUE ANIMALS IN DANGER, WELL DO YOUR JOB AND TAKE THE DOGS AWAY FROM HIM AND BAN HIM FOR LIFE
