An investor blocked! I’m now forced to go public with this issue: The Spoutible owner, Christopher Bouzy (@Cbouzy), hasn’t returned my investor money after blocking me on the website in December 2024. Spoutible is the most fun! Engaging people, wide variety of interests, and a caring community of people interested in Democracy. There are gardeners, birders, knitters, crocheters, bakers, cooks, photographers, writers, poets, and animals. We are inclusive and proudly DEI. Mr. Bouzy has created a unique and diverse social media platform.
Joined at the beginning and over time Mr. Bouzy has added many excellent features, including the ability to edit and request a fact check. My favorite part, though, is the swift removal of open racists and those engaging in hate speech.
It's such a relief to find a social media platform that allows me to deal with trolls myself, but that also quickly banishes racists, scammers, misogynists and troublemakers. This platform is way more functional than most, and also has an environment that is informative and fun. No more feeling stressed out and upset by being barraged by bad actors and offensive ads. It's also nice to know that my personal information isn't being scraped and sold off, and that the platform isn't VC-dependent.
