Robert did my interview and had me on the outlook for emails that have never come through and now today when I call I keep getting transferred to a line playing elevator music and I was on hold for over an hour. I thought this was a real company but now I am worried about me sitting in the office where I found out about this company to the fact that now I can’t not contact anyone
The worst does not return emails or phone calls gave them money to set up a plan which they never did they took the money and applied it to another account ask for a refund have been waiting a week it's still no money no emails no communication
While I do like this type of program better than the other options.. like debt consolidation loans, bankruptcy, or the ones where you stop paying and wait for a settlement ... I would recommend another company to handle it vs Take Charge.The main reason, is the higher monthly fee coupled with the now $5 fee to make extra payment. (this just started this week) ... so now there are additional fees that werent part of the program I initially signed up for. If you are an advocate non profit to help consumers in debt, why are you adding junk fees?!? It makes me really question their non profit status, which was investigated I believe at one point.. (Before added fees were part of the program)The other negative, is that if you are making regular extra payments, they will often miss sending them out.. and I have had to call to say I dont see the payment sent to my creditor. That being said, I whole heartingly recommend this type of program for those who are struggling with credit card debt, but maybe look for a company with no junk fees.On a side note, their new website is a step down. You no longer have visibility to how much you have paid.. whether is total amount paid, or per account paid.
