Review Time
Honestly, I have wasted hours on this portal, literally doing my own categorizing and bookkeeping for close to $3100. Not seeing where that 400% ROI and 25 average hours saved is being calculated by the other reviewers. This has been very time-consuming trying to scan and upload documents, statements and then go back and mark them all. No refund, multiple reps guiding me, skecthy instructions and hard time syncing documents. I am overwhelmed by it all. Hope you have everything strictly running through one account only to simplify things or else you will get to experience this. Already forced to get an extension, WOW
I met with the tax specialist and he provided me with all of the details that I needed as well as answered all of my concerns. I did not feel like it was a high-pressure sales call but maybe that was because I needed their services. :)
Everything was broken down for me to understand but my favorite thing was how they can help you even if you’re not able to pay the full amount right now with a payment plan. I also felt really good that they were honest and told me all the little deduction that I can be saving every year and they made my business feel important to them even though its a newer business

I’d give 0 star if I can! Unfortunately, my experience with this company was very disappointing.
After paying for services, I later learned that the assistance provided was unnecessary for my situation. Communication became difficult once payment was made, and I found I was provided with something different than promised on phone call. The sales representative stopped responding when I requested clarification. I was later contacted by the billing department, who acknowledged misleading information during the sales process but declined to provide call records or offer any meaningful resolution. Even not an apology… Just said nothing he can do, I have to carry on the misleading on my own.
I paid $429 which is supposed and promised to be personal tax file including 2024 ( very little ) & 2025(very important),the one for 2024 ultimately completed the filing on my own basically. Communication with the assigned accountant was also challenging, which further reduced the value of the service. After done the one for 2024, they asked me to pay another $429 for 2025 which is absolutely not as agreed at all, it’s just insane!
More troubling was discovering that my card had been placed on a subscription without my clear understanding or consent. There was no clear contract provided, and canceling required filing a formal case rather than a straightforward process to do it on your own.
Overall, the experience caused unnecessary stress and did not align with the professional service advertised. The whole experience is a waste of time, money, energy consuming process. Overpriced and unprofessional! Definitely not recommended to work with such horrible service!
BUYER BEWARE, this place is very sketchy. The salesman Tuan Duc should have been working on a used car lot somewhere. The guy initially quotes me a price of $2988 a year to do my personal and business tax return and also includes tax advice along with financial advice done quarterly. I tell him I am ready to give it a try, and he then sends me a contract to sign that is $2000 higher than what he quoted me. The guy is a true fast talking con artist. I spent 25 years as an ER doctor dealing with people on a daily basis and I can spot the con men a mile away. I went to the 1-800 accountant website and the initial price he quoted is exactly what they have down on there but now there is no way I would trust these guys. Also take the time to read the other negative reviews they have on here. IMHO these guys are basically nothing more than headhunters who look for clients to hand off to accountants across the country who need business, probably due to the fact they are not good accountants. These sales people working for them will tell you anything you want to hear to try and earn their sales commission, but as Tuan proved to me they can not be trusted and operate a very sketchy business.

It was Nikita Blymiller that made the experience great. She explained all of the features 1-800accountant offered in a way I even understood. This was first time i actually enjoyed talking about taxes.
It was very informative. I learned something and the representative knew what she was talking about so hopefully I can put it together and end up using one 800 accountant thank you.
The gentleman was very nice and answered all of my questions. He was from a different states. I didn’t really like that and the price was extremely expensive over $1400 to do personal taxes was just a little outrageous. I told him I needed to schedule C and he said that’s why it was so expensive.He was my first call so I told him I’ll use that as a baseline. I called Turbotax and they were $150 that includes a schedule C form. I am an independent contractor and I really do not make that much money so the $1400 was just & outrageous price for me to pay. That Accountant is better off handling businesses not & independent person.
