Really really disappointing experience. Cancelled the install the day before work begun after being strung along.The more I think about this the more I feel let down and frustrated. After having 3 videos calls, a site visit, paying the deposit and signing the contract and arranging 3 days holiday off work between my partner and I, how is it that you are able to just cancel it, without attempting to reschedule. Have been planning this for a while now and you have been aware of fitting date and would have known of any long term absences within the company…. I waited to allow your chance to fix this but my emails, calls and concerns were either ignored or not acknowledged.I was told that someone went off long term sick the day before fitting. We have left it 2 months and tried to rearrange before having the story changed and told they can no longer fit due to the remote area we live. We live in Ipswich, not the Isle of Skye, which they were aware of when sending a plumber round to survey and when they took our deposit. The whole point of getting this booked in was because we were due to have someone vulnerable come stay with us over Christmas and our heating being temperamental, so cancelling the day before deep into December was really frustrating. We had agreed a boiler would be fitted, and due to the site visits and calls and availability we were strung along for months before being told they are no longer going to do it with very little explanation. I can't waste any further time with additional site visits from other companies and the stress and frustration is taking its toll.I allowed them time to resolve the issue but any attempt to contact was ignored. My mum recommended this company to me after having her boiler fitted but I certainly won't be doing the same. All the preparations have been made, I had hired a van and cleared garage moving to temporary storage which I shall now being paying for until I am able to find another company to do the work. In the understanding the work was beginning we also took out a loan to pay for the boiler and work which we are now paying off. So this has had big financials costs on us, all because of the companies ignorance and unprofessional service. They have had zero concern for the customer and we have just been fobbed off and ignored. Now we have to shop around for a new fitting quote and getting booked in during the height of winter resulting and potentially take out a second loan for the work to be completed.All my hard work and planning and making arrangements has been completely derailed by your unprofessionalism, minimal notice and false offering of services.
