The service is ok, works ok for calls and data etc.
I do have an issue though. I recently got a new debit card and in order to get the pin for the card I have to send a text to a premium text number, you know, one of those five digit numbers.
I tried and couldn't.
I added credit, it still would not work.
I went on to their online chat customer service, the only way to contact them.
No, they said, we don't offer that service.
What in the actual ?
Seriously, I have to get a friend with a real phone service to do this for me ? What the hell ?
After many years with this operator, I am sick of them. I am abroad, and for almost past two weeks, I have been unable to make or receive phone calls or texts. They say they are working on it, but there are no results, and all they do is promise that their team is working on it. The worst thing is that I can't switch to another operator because I won't receive a service message during the switch, so I'm basically stuck with 48. This is crazy!
Terrible coverage essentially in a town as big as Longford and same if your on a train or bus, and the worst is topping up or buying a plan on their website or app, you can only do it when their servers feel like it. Tesco mobile is better at this point. Highly would NEVER recommend this service.

The previous provider was clearly outmatched by this service in terms of value. While shopping around, I found many 30-day contract options, but this one offers true PAYG with no lock-in. I'm encouraging others to switch, as they have a decent voucher/credit offer as an incentive. I haven't returned to the UK yet, but I'll update on roaming later. This service uses the same network as my previous provider, but it's cheaper and genuinely offers unlimited data. Customer support via chat was quick and helpful. I've saved a lot by canceling my broadband since I now tether my PC and other devices. I'm pleased with my choice!
