These sensors cost me $100 each, only last two weeks and FAIL 50% OF THE TIME. I have to fight with the pharmacy to get a replacement because Abbott wants the customer to send the failed sensor back to them directly. THIS IS THE WORST PRODUCT I HAVE EVER USED. I have flushed at least $600 down the toilet this year because of failed sensors.

I cannot recommend these sensors based on my experience.

From my personal experience, I cannot recommend these sensors. Over time, I encountered numerous issues that led me to move on. Even with following hygiene and preparation best practices, the adhesion of the sensors consistently failed. Moreover, I frequently performed manual checks for accuracy, and there were several occasions where the discrepancies in readings were beyond acceptable limits. While the support team would replace them in some cases, it wasn't consistent.

Disappointing Experience with Support

I’ve used the sensor and anticipated a dependable product, but this experience was very frustrating. My sensor malfunctioned, and after spending over an hour and forty minutes on the phone with the support team, I was informed that they would not replace it, despite the issue being clearly a device failure. I followed all troubleshooting steps they provided, remained patient, and shared all the necessary information. In the end, they simply refused to support their own product. A medical device that individuals depend on for their health should be reliable, and when it fails, the company should take responsibility. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. I’m sharing this so others are aware of what to expect. The technology functions well when it operates correctly, but if you encounter an issue, be ready for lengthy calls, lack of accountability, and no resolution.

After nine years of inconsistent readings, my experience has been very disappointing. They now acknowledge their sensors are faulty, which is unacceptable. I wouldn't recommend wasting time or money on this product; look for alternatives that actually work.

Mixed Experience as a Long-Time User

I've used the product for a couple of years without significant issues. However, the recent version has been problematic, showing about 30% inaccuracy on several sensors. I returned one today and was promised a call back soon, but it's been over an hour. The previous version worked fine, but I'm having trouble getting support now.

Defective Reader and Poor Support

The reader I received doesn't function, and the support team has been unhelpful, even hanging up on me. I had to buy the reader myself last year because they wouldn't replace the faulty one. The sensors frequently fail, working for only a few days before indicating a problem. This system is completely inadequate.

Unhelpful Support and Frustrating Experience

While I have no issues with the device itself, the support team has been very unhelpful. I've had sensors fall off, and when requesting replacements, they used an outdated address instead of the one I provided. This led to delays in receiving a new sensor. The manager I spoke with showed little concern for my situation.

Promotion Not Honored

The company advertised a $15 promotion that my wife and I tried to use. However, my order defaulted to full price because of a shared address, and they demanded a letter from my doctor despite my concerns about glucose levels. They refused to honor the promotion, making their rules seem arbitrary.

Terrible Customer Service and Delays

As a type 1 diabetic, I rely on this service, but my experience has been extremely poor. I ordered a sensor weeks ago and received no updates or delivery. A second order was also placed without confirmation. Their customer service has not responded to my inquiries about the missing orders.
