Huge disappointment - Review AbeloHost.com Offshore Hosting

Payment and Verification:I paid for their services using cryptocurrency through Coinbase, thinking this would ensure a smooth and private transaction.After my payment was confirmed, I was unexpectedly asked to provide a government-issued ID for verification. This felt strange for a Offshore Hosting company, (* They call them self Trusted Offshore Host) especially one that markets itself as privacy-focused.Despite my reservations, I provided the requested ID. After waiting 48 hours, I received a shocking response: they refused to provide me the service I had paid for and informed me that no refund would be issued due to their terms and conditions.No Refund PolicyWhen I contacted Coinbase, they confirmed that AbeloHost had the ability to refund my payment without any technical issue. However, AbeloHost Offshore Hosting outright refused to do so, hiding behind their vague policies.My ConcernsUnethical Practices: They took my payment, refused to provide the service, and denied a refund. This feels like theft.Contradiction to Privacy: Asking for an ID after accepting cryptocurrency defeats the purpose of using crypto as a private payment method.Poor Transparency: Nowhere during the signup process was it clearly stated that ID verification would be mandatory or that refunds would not be issued in such cases.Final ThoughtsThis experience has left me with no trust in AbeloHost.com.
